I am so glad we found this amazing gem! We were looking for a peaceful getaway from the city and boy, did this place deliver and then some. When we walked in, I actually squealed with delight. It looked exactly like the photos, and had so many unexpected touches to make us feel right at home (robes, slippers, wireless charging stations on both nightstands, earplugs, eye masks, personal toiletries… they thought of *everything!*) This was also far and away the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at, and it smelled so good I sniffed out the fragrance and wrote it down so we could buy it for our own place. For as amazing as everything was, the crown jewel of the place is the sauna — such a welcome and relaxing luxury that would definitely warrant us booking this place again. Finally, Douglas was an incredibly responsive and helpful host. If this place is available, I’d definitely suggest looking no further — we had such an incredible time!

We had a wonderful experience at the lake house. We went with a 9 month old, and he was just as relaxed and comfortable as we were. Having access to the paddle boat and not having to worry about bringing extra supplies provided us with a stress free vacation. Highly recommend

Great, responsive hosts! The property is located on a beautiful, private lot and is equipped with everything needed for a getaway, any time of the year, whether it's for a party of one or a family; the hosts thought of everything needed for a short or long-term stay. The home has an open layout and offers beautiful views of a private lake and surroundings. I highly recommend the listing and will, definitely, come back in the future. Pros: Little Star Lake is beautiful, serene, and so quiet! The cottage is clean and feels newly updated, kitchen is very well equipped. Huge propane grill, propane campfire, traditional wood fire pit on beach with cooking surface, Keurig (BYO k cups, none provided) all are cool amenities I didn’t know from the listing. Also, a very nice water cooler is provided bc the well water has a metallic taste. The pontoon (runs with solar powered battery) is so fun for kids to jump off in the middle of the lake. Such a great set up for young kids. Several beach towels are provided, which helps with no dryer available. Cons: The host takes a long time to respond to communication. We had asked for pool heat more than 2 weeks in advance. 5 days prior to our stay she finally responded with the assurance that there would be pool heat. When we arrived, there was no pool heat, and we had to deal with some devastated kids. The host did allow us free use of kayaks to make up for no heat.

This place was absolutely amazing! We can't wait to come back next summer! what amazed us most is there was every single thing you could need for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was stocked with everything you needed to cook a great meal! from the pans, to all the seasonings, to every single spatula or screwdriver or even batteries for flashlights! when we arrived the host had two water bottles set up with a gift card to a local ice cream shop and that was amazing! we took so many pictures because it was absolutely perfect! the location was amazing the lake was amazing and we will be back! Thank you amazing hosts!!!

This property is really nice, clean, and comfortable! Our family of five found this cabin a good fit with many things that made it feel like home away from home. Our young kids loved the tire swing and we all enjoyed the peaceful woods, decks, and fire pit. Note the kitchen is smaller but very well supplied for cooking. There are only four chairs at the table but one of us adults just stood for meals. The property is close to hiking trails, the lake, a grocery store, and other outdoor adventures. Overall, we’d absolutely come back!!
