Lake Chesdin fishing vacation rentals

Totally recommended, beautiful place

Had a lovely few days here in early December, snug as a bug despite the rather chilly temperatures. It's a lovely view of the lake and just a few steps away, was a bit cold to do any water activity but in warmer weather would just be ideal. The internet was rock solid and lots of the usual kitchen facilities were there, not that we used most of them. Would 100% return when next back in the area. There is a knack to opening/closing the front door, you just need to pull it towards you about 1mm before pressing the lock button when arriving or leaving.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I felt right at home here. The lake is beautiful and had a good time fishing there. Highly recommend!

Fished a tournament out of Osbourne Landing which is 10 minutes from Janet's place. The place was perfect for 3 guys with boats. The place was clean, and Janet was very good to communicate with. Will stay again if we come back to fish.

Matt and Erin did a wonderful job with their lovely home. Very clean and serene. We loved the surroundings, being inside a park was pretty cool! It was nice and quiet. We enjoyed sitting outside. The only advice I have is don’t forget to bring your own seasonings if you love to cook. Otherwise, we loved the space and felt right at home!

This home was the perfect fit for our large group of 14. We stayed over the Christmas holiday and the place was very accommodating! Larkin was very responsive and helped out immediately with any questions we had. The kitchen was fully stocked and all the beds were comfortable. There were plenty of towels and blankets, dishes, etc. for our entire group. The location is a small quaint town. The Blue Crab down the street had some delicious food but other than that there isn’t much around so you definitely need to hit up the store. The Food Lion is less than 10min away for groceries. Williamsburg is 30min away and Yorktown about 45min away- we visited both towns to explore. Overall a marvelous stay!

Great place, clean house, fun to be on a working farm for the weekend. Only note is there is no central air conditioning so bringing fans for upstairs bedrooms is helpful.

This property and location is amazing. The house is huge with every amenity you can think of. It was a perfect location for a work weekend. No WiFi problems at all. I would recommend to anyone considering staying here. Worth EVERY penny.

Gloria was an amazing host and her home was outstanding! Beautiful home, even better views, many activities to do, close proximity to stores, private and quite, except for a rooster that was roaming the property (which we thought was cool to see). All my kids did was play outside the entire trip, not one iPad was watched. We will be back for sure!

Great Deal for anyone looking for a spacious and quiet spot only a mere 20 minutes from downtown Richmond! Highly recommend.

Check-in was smooth, and the host was incredibly welcoming and responsive throughout my stay. The amenities were top-notch, and all the little touches made it feel like a home away from home. We enjoyed our stay in Byrd Park! The home is very well stocked- has everything you could need and access to laundry. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t cooperative, but the short walk to the lake is ideal. There was ample off street parking the whole week we were there as well. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of clean towels provided. We stayed here while we had to move out due to a home renovation and it felt very homey and comfortable for our family of 6!

This is a great vacation spot for a reasonable price. Owner was very nice, answered all questions, and accommodated any requests we had. The house was loaded with games, appliances, and anything we could have possibly needed. There was so much stuff we purchased at the store before heading there that we didn’t even realize was already at the location for us to use. They really took the time to make sure we were well equipped with as much as possible. Neighbors were to themselves and didn’t mind music or how late anyone was out fishing on the pier. Had a really great time.

Ron is a great host. He has a lovely cabin with beautiful views. Well maintained and clean. Great instructions to find the cabin. You can enter the address in you gps and it will drive right to the front door. Very accommodating and thought full host. This was our second stay here and we have booked his place for one more.

The lower level apartment was as advertised. The upstairs rental apartment was busy and loud at times, but there was truth in advertising that this is a lower level apartment. What you see is what you get in the space. There was a surprise utility service during my stay. I let it alone, but the owner contacted me to apologize and offer a credit, which I appreciated.

What a perfect getaway location! Ruby's place was just what we needed, clean, beautiful, and so spacious, we truly had everything we could ask for. We so appreciated Ruby's great communication, flexibility and attentive nature for our stay, she was so helpful! 10/10 recommend!

Taryn's place was great for our short stay in Richmond. The toys for kids were appreciated by my little ones. The location was peaceful and not too far away from the city. It was exactly like the pictures and Taryn was a very responsive and helpful host. I'd recommend this home to anyone with a family looking into staying in the Richmond area, my kids liked it so much they didn't want to leave.

Fantastic accommodations - apartment seemed close to new with plenty of room & private bathroom for each bedroom & big walk-in closets. Nice common area between bedrooms. Great dog park & areas to walk dog. Would definitely stay with Anna again & highly recommend.

My friends & I really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very private and quiet. Just what we needed for a relaxing girls weekend away.

Close to Swim RVA and the soccer fields. much more convenient than staying on Midlothian Turnpike...and no traffic! Everyone had their own bed, and it's so nice for the adults to be able to stay up when the swimmers are early to bed early to rise. The place was clean, and we look forward to staying there again!
