Relax and Connect at the River

AnthonyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
WOW. What an absolute gem of a find. If you are looking to disconnect from the world and find peace either by yourself or with your partner, this is the place for you. Fully eqipped with everything you would need to not have to leave, and all the privacy you could ask for, and a view that sets everything at peace. Everything was super clean, organized, and well maintained. The hosts sent very clear instructions prior to arrival and we felt very welcomed. We cannot recommend this tiny home on the river enough.

Majestic River View

I didn't realize there were handicap cabins. I could have used one. I suggest rubber backed throw rugs in the bathroom. I posted pictures on FB and everyone wanted to know the location. I learned of them by word of mouth. Thank you. Now I know how bnb works. Have a blessed day!

Duchess's Retreat at Stillwater Farm & Arena

Comfortable and clean and a great price. If you're looking for a secluded get away, this is your place. Loved the rockers on the front porch and the water temp was great in the shower. It is on the small side but was perfect for the 2 of us.

Beautiful cozy cabin atop private property offering beautiful views of the Ohio River by day and bright stars on a clear night. If you get a foggy sunrise along the river valley followed by the most sunny day ever, take a scenic drive along the river to Augusta, KY for a foodie's paradise and then to Vanceburg, and so on because there's so many wonderful small Kentucky river towns full of history and adventures awaiting for you. Slow down for the deer and chipmunks!!! Enjoy your visit to this beautiful and peaceful cabin.

Stoner View Farm

PatriciaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. You need to realize you are staying in a house that is over 100 years old. The kitchen was well equipped with items needed for preparing meals (with that said, I find it is usually helpful if you bring your favorite kitchen knife). The house was easy to heat and cool in mid-May. Great water pressure. Clean shower. Comfortable furniture in the living room. The beds are hard so keep that in mind if you are a sleep diva. They are not terrible, just not a soft as my body needs. But I do have back/hip problems, even in my own soft bed. The yards were beautiful, nice landscaping. We enjoyed the chickens roaming about. Carmella supplied the house really well with paper towels, tissue, cleaning supplies and bath linens. We stayed 5 nights and had plenty of linens.
