What a lovely cottage style home .. was perfect for our group and we loved that each room has its own private bathroom.. if your going to cape agulhus it’s the ideal choice… Kerry was so accommodating and even allowed us use of the fishing rods

We loved our stay in Struisbaai. Steph's cottage is beautifully decorated in a retro style that suits the environment. You felt like you were on a holiday and that you can relax. The cottage is within walking distance to the shops, butcher and the beach. There is parking on the side or in front of the cottage. Communicating with Steph was easy and quick. A great place to stay for a great holiday. Thank you Steph!

Great place if looking a quiet night's rest. The host was very friendly. And the home is spacious for the the desired price range. Quaint little garden for plant lovers. Didn't spend much at the house, but would recommend it for anyone who wants a place to rest after a busy day of exploring the area. 5*

Kirsten’s Laughing Oaks cottage was like being wrapped in the arms of two grand oaks providing peaceful serenity. Positioned on the doorstep of gorgeous walks through their protea farm towards the mountains with stretches of diverse fynbos past her gentle horses and an absolutely delightful dam to have a dip in. Our two young dogs were in their element with a secure space for them to play and rest in the shade. The cottage is spacious and has everything you need for an authentic farm stay. Thank you for being such a wonderful host Kirsten and for giving our family the space to have a restful stay we will not forget. We certainly plan to come and visit again.

Ive stayed at a quite a few places with the Family over the years however this one met our expectations above and beyond. From the moment I booked Malani provided me with the list of instructions for the house along with helpful tips, she responded almost immediately. We were welcomed by the friendly Casper and his wife with open arms. Would highly recommend this place for a group or Family looking to get away from the hustle and bustle.

We had a wonderful stay at Prinskraal! The house is beautifully kept, the kitchen well equipped and the beds comfy and warm! We arrived to a large basket of fruit, home baked cake and cookies and immediately felt at home. Julien cleaned up after our party of 12 beautifully and baked us the most delicious breads. It was a treat to have her to help and allow us time to enjoy the farm. Mariska went above and beyond to ensure that the kids had the best farm experience. From collecting eggs, to bottle feeding the lambs, to teaching them to lead and ride the ponies. And of course making them pancake mixture and helping them make stok broodtjies. They were ready to stay forever! All of the farm staff were super friendly and happy to help. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we have already booked a return trip!

Beautiful home In struisbaai

We had a wonderful holiday at Vogelgezang. The teenagers, who had been dreading being without electricity and wifi, had a ball playing games and doing things 'the old-fashioned way!' The house was as described - basic, peaceful and private. The farm manager was very helpful and reassuring - there was a fire in the area one night coupled with gale force winds and he kept in contact until the fire was under control and even came to check on us. A few of our group are birders and they loved all the bird life in the area. We all enjoyed the wonderful beaches at Arniston, Struisbaai and De Mond. An unforgettable holiday!

WOW, WOW, WOW 🤩 this place is an absolute sanctuary! It feels like you are the only two people in the world. It is just rustic enough but has everything you need. The pool area is amazing - we took an umbrella and thick towels, and spent the entire day there, and then spent two hours watching frogs at the new dam. The nature was amazing - beautiful birds and so many little tortoises. You’d think there’d be more bugs and mozzies but we weren’t bothered at all. Liz is extremely helpful when you need her, but does not bother you at all. The only note is that the hike to the Kloof seems easy at first, but we’d recommend proper hiking shoes and longer clothing as there were a lot of intense looking spiders 🙃 we ended up doing it from the other side in, with a big stick to clear the webs. I couldn’t recommend this place more and I’d love to go back to visit again! Thanks Liz (please do update us about Herbet the 🐢).
