Villa vacation rentals in Lagos

We had a great family get-together at the villa. It was spacious, clean, and we felt at home. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and swimming, exploring the beaches, and nearby towns. It was easy to get to shops and buy the food. We had a couple of BBQs, pizza in Figueira, and ate in Lagos. We enjoyed playing games together in the evenings. We played our own games but there are some available especially for children. Eleanor is a great host, kind and understanding and responds quickly. She makes you feel welcome. Thank you for our time at the villa, Eleanor, and we would visit again. Highly recommend.

Anna and Patrick’s villa is incredible. The large garden and pool area has been done beautifully. The house includes newly renovated bathrooms and everything has been done to a high spec with lots of touches to make it feel like home. Communication was excellent, as a group of 7 with 2 kids we had plenty of space and lots to do close by. We enjoyed relaxing days by the pool as well as day trips to surrounding areas. Walkable to great local supermarket, Lagos old town and beaches. Highly recommend!

Wat een geweldige tijd hebben we hier gehad. We hebben met 2 gezinnen genoten van de mooie villa. Alles was schoon en aan alles was gedacht. Eén adembenemend uitzicht op zee en een heerlijk groot zwembad voor een verkoelende duik. Daarnaast is de villa dichtbij het gezellige centrum van Luz met verschillende heerlijke eetgelegenheden. We zouden graag nog een keer terugkomen

The host was welcoming, responsive, and truly went the extra mile to make us feel at home. Everything was spotless, well-equipped, and exactly as described - if not better! Schöne Unterkunft welche all unsere Erwartungen erfüllt bzw. teilweise Übertroffen hat. Abgesehen von Kleinigkeiten welche aber unseren Aufenthalt in keinster Weise beeinflusst haben die Perfekte Unterkunft für unseren Aufenthalt.

Our family had a great stay. The villa is more spacious that photos suggest and garden is attractive and well maintained. There are plenty of spaces to relax in and the villa is located in a quiet residential area. The rooftop seating area is a real bonus. The rooms are all comfortable with air conditioning. The pool is a good size. Any issues were dealt with quickly and satisfactorily. I would recommend a stay here.

We stayed here as a family with my mother and father in law also. So much of space for the 6 of us. The games room was a great place to spend the evenings playing pool and darts. The swimming pool and outdoor space was fabulous. The kids were rarely out of the pool and loved the paddle board that was available for them to uses. Kids also loved picking grapefruits for breakfast and lemons for our drinks. Slightly issue with one of the toilets being out of order and the water going off (due to nearby construction) but host had forewarned us this may occur. We had a lovely family holiday.

One of the best places we’ve ever stayed. I could not say enough nice things about the host, Maria, and this house. The house is gorgeous, looks just like the photos shown. It’s in a great location, we felt safe, and it’s stocked with so many useful items. We only stayed for two days but wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy this house. The day we checked in happened to be the day power went out all throughout Portugal and Maria went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. She had candles ready for us and even came back over with food since all the stores and restaurants were shut down and we didn’t have anything to eat. We are so grateful to her. I would stay here again and again!

What a beautiful place in a fantastic area which was quiet and not far from the town, the property was amazing and had a wonderful week

The house was great and well equipped. The scenery was beautiful and we would like to come back. Thanks to Ben, the owner for making the departure and stay easy and problem free. The house was very nice, although I would have been nervous for the steep stairs if I had small children. But it was perfect for us with teenage/adult kids, with lots of separate spaces, both inside and outside. The pool was bigger than expected, it wasn’t very easy to see from the pictures. It was also a bit longer to walk to the beach than I thought, but again, with big kids it was no problem. The area was quiet and safe and with a wonderful view from the roof terrace. All in all, it was a wonderful place.

The villa was absolutely beautiful. It looked exactly like the photos. It accommodated 6 adults and 2 children comfortably. Whilst we were there the towels were changed, beds were stripped, pool cleaned, gardens maintained. The villa is very well cared for. Agree with other reviews that you either need a car or be prepared to get a taxi (7 euros to the marina). The walk is doable but part of it is along a quick road with blind corners and no pavement. We didn’t feel safe doing it. We had one issue that was dealt with - thank you for the responsive communication. Thank you for the welcome drink left in the fridge. We were met personally on arrival and could check in early due to a morning flight. We would 100% stay here again and recommend.

What a fantastic property and location. We had high expectations from the photos and price, but they were met and more. Modern with all of the amenities: cooking essentials, beach gear / toys, towels, beers if you're lucky the previous guest didn't finish them! Wendy and Manel are very responsive (when asked - not interfering!) and I am so glad they have shared their home with us for a week. We've walked the coastal path on past visits and wondered what it would be like to live in one of the villas right next to it... Now we know and want to do it again!

Our party of 8 stayed at Cristina's Villa for 10 days at the beginning of June. It is truly gorgeous, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, super large bedrooms all with en-suite and as already mentioned on other reviews the view from the terrace is amazing. So lovely to have the pool with sun loungers, many a happy hour was spent there enjoying the sunshine. Cristina is a great host… very helpful and quick to respond if we needed her for any queries or local recommendations etc. We didn’t hire a car but very good beach bars and restaurants are nearby.. we also walked into Lagos several times returning by taxis which were readily available from the main road near the old town… Pingo Doce supermarket are happy to call a taxi for you … Also we were lucky to find the services of N&E taxi company… Vitor and Nuno offer a fantastic friendly service. We all had a great holiday and can thoroughly recommend the Villa of Magical Light.

We had an amazing few days at this stunning property. The house is spacious and the pool set up is great. Waking up everyday to a stunning 360 degree view of the surrounding landscape was a highlight.

We really enjoyed staying at Linda’s place. Beautiful villa and quiet place. Linda is a great host and easy to stay in touch. We will definitely go back again.

We had an amazing stay at Jinny's place. The villa has an amazing pool and beautiful garden. It was well equipped and pristine. We would definitely recommend and would go again. The villa is close a big shop and many beautiful beaches. 10/10

We were lucky enough to stay at Davids’ villa for 4 weeks and felt totally “at home”. The views from the top area of the villa were outstanding - just excellent for our breakfast coffees or evening sundowners. Beautiful bird song around us in such a peaceful setting but easy enough to walk down into Luz for restaurants and coffee shops - even with my rubbish knees! Full compliments to George & Amelia who are David’s people “on the ground”. Any problems were so quickly resolved it was like having our own private help! The pool was excellent - with good depth and BBQ area worked so well for us. Thanks David.

I can't say enough good things about this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and spacious. It looks exactly like the photos - if not better. I’ve stayed in some great Airbnbs, but this was truly one of the best. Everything was effortless. Our hosts had considered every detail, providing clear information and recommendations before our arrival. The location was fantastic - just a short walk to the beach, shops, bars, and restaurants - yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. Relaxing by the pool with a view of the sea was absolutely stunning. Donal and Marian were incredibly kind and responsive. They checked in to make sure we had everything we needed while still giving us complete privacy. Highly, highly recommend!

This was our 2nd stay at Casa C, although we booked through a different holiday rental platform last year, the Casa Do team were equally as responsive & fantastic to deal with. The house was a fabulous as last year, a real home from home, except with a pool! We often stay home for lunch or an evening meal as the kitchen is so well equipped, the beds are super comfortable too. We had an issue with the boiler during our stay but after a quick message to Joao he was with us within 30 minutes along with a qualified plumber, a new boiler was installed the very next morning. This is the 2nd house we have rented on the complex & it is normally so peaceful & relaxing, unfortunately there is heavy building working going on at the moment in the large plot next door, which started at 8am until 5pm, every day, it would have been nice if this had of been stated on the booking. The house really is superb, I don't believe anyone would be disappointed in staying here - see you again soon!

Es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt mit allen verfügbaren Einrichtungen, die man sich in einem Airbnb wünscht! Großartige Verständigung mit Petra vor Ort! Man muss nur extrem auf die Lautstärke nach 22 Uhr aufpassen! Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen! Alles in allem ein sehr gutes Airbnb

Excelente estancia en la villa, todo tal cual descrito. Muy buena comunicación con Karen y proceso de llegada flexible. Villa con buenas vistas, ubicación en zona exclusiva y tranquila con todo lo necesario para pasar unas vacaciones tranquilas. La villa estaba decorada con gusto y te sientes comoek casa nada más llegar.

Wir hatten eine fabelhafte Woche in der Villa Irene. Keine Angst vor der Zufahrt, sie ist etwas steinig, aber absolut gut befahrbar! Der Pool ist ein Traum und wird vor jeden Neueinzug gecheckt. Das Haus war super sauber und hatte alles, was wir brauchten. Es gab beim Einzug ein Problem mit den Rolladen und das wurde sehr schnell behoben. Carlos wohnt nebenan und ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben

The villa was amazing, with so much space and our bedroom was particularly stunning. Wonderful for our daughter to dress for her wedding and have photos.. The pool was great and there was a games room too. The shady veranda kept us all cool for meal times and relaxing. Very well equipped, good linen and towels. Only issue we had was with mosquitoes in the smaller 2 bedrooms. I would go fully prepared with plug ins and spray next time. Never found a manual with local information etc.but we had Google. We are at some excellent restaurants in Lagos.
