Vacation rentals with beach access in Lagos

An amazing stay! So sad to leave! The stylish, homey flat was perfect, peaceful yet close to everything. Ideal for couples: hikes to quiet beaches with stunning blue water, and thoughtful extras like beach towels, bags, bats for the beach, and even a parasol! The flat had everything, check the cupboards before buying anything. We recommend hiring a car, parking’s easy and visiting AEZA to walk rescue dogs (message them on socials FB a few days ahead), the Sagres fortress, then lunch at Fermento food&wine. Our fave food spots in Burgau: SUL (breakfast & romantic dinners), Miam (ceviche, mussels, caipirinhas!), Barraca (shrimp starter and octopus salad), and Corso (coffee & pizza). Lagos is more touristy, but Restaurante dos Artistas was a proper romantic dinner treat. This trip was the perfect mix of rest and adventure away from crowds. The beach was never too busy, and the breeze meant you didn’t always need the parasol. The host thought of every detail. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

Amazing place to stay. Our child felt at home here and loved it. The terrace is perfect. Great spot. Easy to find. Parking close by. Nice spots to walk. Great check in. Pedro have great instructions for arrival and was great at communicating if needed! Had great sleep at night you don’t hear any sounds outside! Also place is in between two great spots if you visit sagres and portimao 👍

Joao and Yang’s charming and art filled apartment was overlooking a lovely square in old city, perfect for anyone who wants to be a few minutes away from great restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. Check in was easy and the location of the apartment very easy to find. Only a few minutes walk to the marina for boat tours and the perfect launch spot for most activities in the area. The apartment gets great ventilation and a cross breeze. When we needed the fans, they provided enough cool air for warm nights. We absolutely loved our stay, the bottles of water and wine in the fridge were a lovely surprise. The apartment is larger than you think and we enjoyed listening to the sounds of town winding down in the living room. Cons: Yes the seagulls are noisy in the early morning, but nothing a deep sleep or earplugs won’t solve for. I do think it’s time to refresh the mattress, linens, and pillows (2 per person on the beds would be a plus) and laundry detergent would have been useful.

My family stayed here for 4 nights during a longer visit in Portugal. This was by far our favorite Airbnb of the trip! The apartment is conveniently located, just steps from the beach and a 5-10 minute walk into town. We enjoyed the home, especially the outdoor area and hammock where we spent a lot of time relaxing. There’s even a comfortable living area where we lounged in the evenings. I’d highly recommend this rental!

My bf and I stayed for 4 nights and we felt right at home! It’s a 15 min walk to old town which was perfect and went by fast. Comfortable bed. Nice balcony with two doors. There was always street parking, a small grocery store a few minutes walking distance (which sells the coffee pods you want), and sunrays kitchen which was SO good for lunch. We also loved how they had extra beach blankets and Tupperwares/plastic cups to bring snacks/wine to the beach. Also found a great 6-7k jogging loop from the Airbnb by all the beaches and ponta da piedade (start at 7-8am to beat the heat).

Wir haben 5 Nächte im Häuschen von Mariana verbracht und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Eine kleine Oase der Ruhe . Wir haben den Außenbeleuchtung, vor allem den Pool gut nutzen können. Es gab genug verschiedenartige Bereiche. Die private Terrasse im ersten Stock war herrlich und privat. Die Küche haben wir nur zum Frühstück herrichten genutzt, da es jede Menge Restaurants in der Nähe gibt. Wir würden wiederkommen.

We had a fantastic stay! The host was incredibly responsive and friendly—always quick to reply and genuinely helpful with local tips. The location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to see and do. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Highly recommend staying here!

Eva’s place was very beautiful and comfortable! The view down the street was amazing. It was very walkable to the main town centre and the beaches. Eva was very friendly and welcoming when we visited her atelier. Highly recommend!

L'appartement est super, mieux que sur les photos et joao a pris en charge les frais de parking pour le séjour. Très bien pour profiter de la jolie petite vieille ville et de la côte ouest. Jaoa a été parfait. Très bien équipé en produit d'hygiène et épicerie : très pratique pour ceux qui voyagent en avion ! On recommande vivement

I HIGHLY recommend this place! It was the perfect location for exploring Lagos- close walking to many restaurants, shops, and the beach! The home is immaculate and has everything you could need for a nice stay. The hosts went above and beyond from the very start- truly a gem of a place. You won’t go wrong staying here.

Wonderful, peaceful and quiet two-story apartment 1 minute away from Old Town and 15 minute walk away from the closest beach and marina for tourist activities, 10 minutes to bus- perfect location! They even had beach towels and an umbrellas to take to the beach. The second floor deck was spacious and quiet.

Wish we could have stayed for a month! Claudia was wonderful! What a little gem she has! Perfectly decorated, everything we needed, clean, comfortable, it was a perfect stay!

The place was lovely, clean and in the heart of old town Lagos. Perfect location. All the recommendations provided by Gerry were spot on - from the food to the beaches. The highlight of our stay at the beach house was when we were able to sit on the rooftop and watch the fireworks celebrating Portugal day. Our host was extremely responsive and friendly. Fabulous place for a family. Great experience from start to end. Clear instructions. Super clean, spacious and bright. The location is great - a 2.minute walk to our excursion (kayaking), and a 5-minute walk to the boardwalk that leads to the city center! Beaches are about a 5-minute drive!

Spent a week at vanessa’s apartment. We absolutely loved it! It was so spacious and clean and literally had everything you could need. Vanessa checked us in and showed us around, she was so friendly and helpful with lots of recommendations. It was about a 20 min walk and less than a 5 minute uber from the old town. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend😃

The location was amazing for walking to the beach, having alfresco meals, and Emmanuelle was a wonderful host! So pleased and was a perfect start to our Portugal holiday!

Bruno’s place was exactly what was advertised. 10 minute walk to one of the best beaches in Europe and 10 minutes to city center. Perfect for my family and our short trip to Lagos. Bruno communicated daily and gave some tips about what to do in Lagos. Overall a great stay and would book again.

Ben’s apartment was a short walk to the beach, multiple restaurants, and food market. It is in the quiet beach town of Luz 15 minutes from Lagos with lots of hiking and biking trails. I would definitely recommend this for other travelers.

Rosa’s place was great and exactly as described. Very short distance to beach and town (~15 min). She had recommendations which we appreciated. Check-in was easy. The place was as described and Rosa was super communicative. We encountered some issues after checkin and Rosa handled them immediately, which was so appreciated!!
