Chalet vacation rentals in Lac-Mégantic

If it was for sale, we would ask to buy it, but it wouldn’t come with our wonderful hosts so we’ll continue to rent it! What a wonderful experience we had enjoying ourselves and beautiful Ayer’s Cliff, Quebec. We visit Quebec quite often from the states where we live and we have stayed in several places over many years and this is one of our favorites. Very satisfied with the rental, the chalet was even better than our expectations. As well as being very comfortable, the games provided like the sieve board as well as the vinyls and films were much appreciated. The ONLY thing to take into account is the proximity between the cottages, we had the 375 and had been a bigger group or if everything had been busy in the summer I would have found the 377 a little too close. Renting both should be a perfect arrangement for groups in my opinion.

Very nice place that we discovered and enjoyed as a family, everyone had fun. The services and the space allowed us to have a great time even with an ordinary temperature. Exemplary and fast service as soon as we had questions or concerns. Thank you Pascal…great host!

Our family (2 adults and 2 children) had a beautiful week at Domaine Gagnon. The site is beautifully laid out and maintained and the chalet had everything we needed. We enjoyed swimming in the lake and listening to the bird song. There is plenty to do in the area (beaches, hiking, etc). We hope to be back!

The Chalet was awesome. No complaints. The place was exactly as advertised, if we go back to Jackman for snowmobiling again we will 100% book with Darrick again.

Second visit in last three years. As usual, Patrick hospitality was great. We choose this house as soon as our family and friends group want to away from Montreal and allow kids to enjoy the break/holidays. This house fulfil everyone needs from 5 to 50 year old in our group. I recommend this to families and friends group to have wonderful evening and late evening dinner and talk. The village was very quite but reachable from near by towns. thanks Patrick. Hope to see you again !

Good accommodation for a short night's stay, very close to the ASTROLab in Mont-Mégantic National Park. Camille is very nice. He was there to welcome us upon arrival.

Perfect location and house for our group of 10 that skied at Sugarloaf! The house is located insanely close to the mountain and serviced by the shuttle that’s on call during the week and a schedule on weekends so you don’t even have to drive. The home was incredibly cozy and fit our group well. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay and would return! Perfect for our two families looking to do some spring skiing. We got lucky and caught the last couple days of the ski in/ski out trails being accessible. Loved dinner at Portage and the hanging out at Moose alley. Highly recommend!

Loafer’s Lodge is peaceful, beautiful, comfortable and offers something for everyone! Close to Sugarloaf and the Outdoor Center, Loafer’s Lodge was centrally located to all that we wanted to do. Returning back to the house to enjoy the beautiful view of the mountain, the cozy living room beside the fire, and the soothing hot tub was beyond any expectations that we had. Looking forward to returning!

We had a wonderful stay at Alaina's house. Amazing view of Sugarloaf Mountain. The house was well stocked, super clean, and very comfortable for the 10 of us. The welcome card and basket of treats were a great surprise. Definitely recommend Alaina's house for an enjoyable trip to The Loaf!

Very nice place. The cottage was fully equipped and the garage converted into a billiard room is perfect.

Everything was perfect! We enjoyed our group stay. The premises were large, with spaces to accommodate the whole group and spaces to be quieter.

We had a wonderful weekend enjoying all the amenities this huge cottage style house offers! Just fun! Hosts respond quickly to our questions. Wishlist for the dining room! Recommended 🙂

We had a great weekend in this cottage! The lake view is really beautiful, you can't get any closer to a lake! The place is very peaceful, no noise, very quiet, a real haven of peace to disconnect! We'll be happy to go back. 😊

We used this chalet for a reunion of friends from university and found it perfect for our needs. The house and surroundings were beautiful, surpassing our expectations. It was far from town or restaurants, but the well equipped kitchen allowed us to cook as much as we needed. We loved using the nice deck, jacuzzi, yard, games, and kayaks to enjoy the lake experience. It was enough to keep us entertained and relaxed the whole stay. The host was nearby and very responsive although his preparations ensured we didn’t need much!

We had a wonderful week relaxing here. The lake is so beautiful and peaceful. The house is amazing, so spacious and clean and extremely well equipped. An absolute gem.

Very peaceful space isolated from neighbors which allows one to immerse in nature. Great spot to explore the lake and river by kayak. The indoor space was set up very well making it easier to spend time indoors S it rained much of our stay. The outdoor hot tub was great! Note that if you do bring a dog the shore is quite muddy so your pooch will get dirty. However there is a tub with a wand downstairs so cleanup is convenient. Thank you for a great stay!

Guy was very helpful through the booking process. Very responsive and was familiar with the event I was traveling for. Answered all my questions and was very flexible with my arrival. Checked in to make sure all was OK upon arrival and offered later checkout time on departure. Also helpful with information on local activities. Definitely a good value for this stay. Plenty of amenities in the home for use (laundry, cookware, etc.).

It's magical! They were able to keep the soul of the mill with lots of antiques and love! Beautiful home of yesteryear with unbelievable charm! Thanks ☺️
