We had a wonderful long weekend in the middle of beautiful nature surrounded by sheep when we ate in front of the hut. The cottage is very nice and very lovingly furnished. It is quiet and private amidst magnificent nature. The communication with Lucas was great. He responds very quickly and inquires proactively. All instructions are detailed and helpful. We would very much like to come back.

We felt immediately comfortable with Rosemary. The cottage was nice and warm when we arrived in bad weather and the view was magnificent. Luckily, we had a few warm days to spend on the wonderful terrace. It was not far to Colmar etc, but after the hustle and bustle down in the valley we were able to rest and relax well in the mountains above Orbey. In the kitchen everything was there, the whole house very original. Really highly recommended! Also very dog friendly!

Claire and David had a wonderful place! It was just like the photos (better even!). The location is excellent — close to shops, cafes, stores, and access to lots of beautiful hiking trails through vineyards. They also had a full booklet of recommendations and responded quickly. Highly recommend this place/these hosts!

New lodge at the foot of Haut Koenigsburg

We felt so welcome and comfortable the entire time. Saint Hippolyte is fantastic and an ideal starting point for hiking and exploring the picturesque villages on the wine route as well as Strasbourg, Selestat and Colmar. We will especially remember our hosts Paul Andre and Philipp - so friendly, so generous, so communicative. As occasional wine drinkers, her practical wine recommendation whetted our appetite. The beautiful garden was also freely available to us with its vegetables at all times. The furnishings are beautiful, so we felt at home from the beginning. To welcome us, a homemade Gugelhupf was on the table. Many thanks to Paul Andre and Philipp for this wonderful vacation! We are more than happy to recommend.
