Each space was designed to see, hear, and experience the landscape: waking up to the sound of the waves, cooking with the skyline in the background, and ending the day with the sunset. Its unique architecture, integrated into the natural slope, makes the experience different from that of a traditional accommodation. This is a place to slow down, unwind, and enjoy.

The Buried House (La Casa Enterrada)

The "buried house" is the second project of the new touristic center called "Centinela de Matanzas". The name of the house comes from its exclusive design, It was built underground in a natural ravine to find a balance between the view of the sea and its surroundings, visually polluting as little as possible. The "burried house" has 110 square meters built on two floors embedded in a natural ravine and a terrace of 50 square meters above at 100 meters over the sea level.

Oceanfront cabin with wifi

beachfront cottage in Playa la Vega de pupuya. The cabin is fully equipped for a stay with the sea at your feet, heating, equipped kitchen, toiletries in the bathroom and kitchen. We have wifi and TV apps, a barbecue with a charcoal grill. There is a way down to the beach past the dunes that are under the cabin. A very beautiful and peaceful place and environment. Cars with good traction or driving expertise are recommended as the last stretch is uphill on dirt.

It is a beautiful and comfortable cabin which will allow you to enjoy the beautiful Matanzas beach and all its surroundings. You have 1 bedroom with a closet, 1 bathroom, and a kitchen next to a living room that leads directly to a nice terrace where you can enjoy a hot tub that has a beautiful view of the Matanzas stream. All the rooms have a view that dominates the Matanzas ravine and the sea in the distance. You can also park your vehicle next to the cabin.
