Wonderful cozy modern chalet! We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the hot tub!

Great place, loved it!

We stayed at this place for two nights and had a good experience overall. The cottage was modern in design and was given to us clean and tidy. However, we encountered two issues. First, the house did not have laundry detergent and paper towels, which could be easily addressed. More importantly, the cottage does not have direct access to the lake. It is located on the upper side of the road, while the lake is on the lower side. To reach the lake, you need to cross the road and go through another property. This was not what we expected based on the photos, as the road was not shown in them.

Beautiful round wooden chalet on three floors. We enjoyed the spa, the fire pit, the small semi-private lake and the children's toys!

Will and Julia have a beautiful property and the cabin was very well maintained. Will helped us bring our luggage down the snowy trail to the cabin and gave us a personal run through anything we would need to know. Julia's breakfast deliveries were always a special treat and much appreciated. My partner and I would definitely visit them again.

Loved our stay! Perfect place for a small group looking for a quiet getaway. Sauna and hot tub were a highlight of our trip!

We enjoyed an extra-long weekend stay in this well designed, spacious home. Bedrooms are cozy and comfortable, and the kitchen/living/dining space is fantastic, with amazing light and views. The home is very well equipped and exceptionally furnished/decorated. We didn’t want to leave!

We had a wonderful stay at Luis’s cottage. Beautiful and modern inside and the most amazing view of the lake and surrounding nature. We felt relaxed and at home right away. Luis was also very responsive and accommodating to our needs. Definitely an A+ host and will highly recommend anyone to stay here.

This place exceeded all our expectations. The host is phenomenal. His responses were always fast, extremely friendly and understanding. He was very accommodating with our date changes (due to a military move) and made our process super easy. The place is stunning. Even better than the pictures. It’s open, spacious, with lots of modern, high end touches. I have already been recommending this place to all my friends. It’s a must stay- in the winter or summer. Great adventure camping spot. My partner and I have been twice now. Both times in February when it is snowy and peaceful. We enjoyed the snowshoeing trails and the sauna. I highly recommend reading the survival guide to help prepare for the visit. Our host was very communicative and gave us lots of helpful details. We liked our visit and intend to return.

It was the perfect place to celebrate my birthday—peaceful, inspiring, and nourishing. I left feeling recharged and grateful. I'm dreaming about returning in another season to experience its beauty again. This house is more than a stay—it’s a feeling.

Perfect Lakeside Getaway – Highly Recommended! Our stay at Alex and Tiffany’s beautiful lakeside house near Maniwaki was absolutely incredible. The home is brand new, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully designed, making it a perfect retreat. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even leaving a lovely welcome gift for our stay, which we truly appreciated. One of the best parts about this place is how close it is to everything in the city while still feeling peaceful and secluded by the lake. The views are breathtaking, and the atmosphere is perfect for relaxation. Alex and Tiffany were incredibly thoughtful, even setting up games for our younger ones, which made our stay even more enjoyable. While we visited outside of summer, I can only imagine how amazing it would be in the warmer months, with the lake right there for swimming and outdoor activities. If you’re passing through Maniwaki, I highly recommend staying here—you won’t regret it!

Such a cool spot, the cabin is in a mini-resort with about 35 different cabins, each one unique and different from the others. Next time we’ll come back for the treehouse. This cabin was spacious for 2 of us, got the cast-iron wood burning oven blazing as soon as we arrived, and it kept it even warmer than needed through the night. We cooked on the grill provided to cook over the open fire pit, making steaks and potatoes. Wasn’t a sound to hear at night, the silence and surroundings were very relaxing, and the stars were incredible. This cabin was « back to basics » with no power nor running water, but as long as you’re up for a little adventure, it has everything you need, and nothing that you don’t. We will definitely come back, and while this cabin was great, we’ll probably try a different unit at the Terra Perma resort as there are lots to choose from! Host was very responsive to our questions and requests.

Amazing views and great place for hiking.

Perfect little cottage for a couple or small family! I have always loved rustic and vintage log cabins so I was well served! I liked that Andrew followed up to make sure everything was okay. The only thing is that there could be a more comfortable and soft mattress, because we found it too hard for us. Other than that I recommend 100%! Thanks Andrew and see you soon!

This cabin was a perfect place to stay. Very cozy and we had everything we needed to relax for the weekend. Andrzej was so friendly and quick to respond.

We had a great time! Cabin was just as described and very clean, outhouse was also really well maintained. There was lots of wood for the campfire and their dock had everything you would need for a fun day on the water. Thank you!

My partner and I were looking for a romantic getaway after a long summer of parenting. Nicolle’s cabin on Lac Lacroix was absolutely ideal for us in every respect. From the picture perfect calm & secluded lake, to the modern, clean & comfortable cabin, it was everything we hoped for. Reading in the hammock, having a grown up lunch on the dock overlooking the lake, and ending the day in the hot tub were highlights. If you’re looking for a getaway from the kids and the bustle of the city, I can’t think of a better choice. We will return next year. Thanks again, Nicolle!

Lovely little place in the woods, was super peaceful and quiet which was nice

We went to Ruben’s cottage for our daughter’s first christmas in 2024. The place was private, cute & cozy for 4-5 ppl. The host is very prompt in responding to our doubts (even though they are mentioned in the description). The location is 30 mins away from parc omega. I had requested to put up some Christmas decor for our daughter and Ruben was kind enough to accomodate the request. the living room was beautifully lighted up and well decorated. To our surprise, we found christmas presents for us below the tree. Note : the location in the google map is little inaccurate. It took us 50 metres farther. We checked with the host before we could spot the cottage. Overall it was a very pleasant experience for my family and would definitely recommend.
