Chalet vacation rentals in La Rosière, Montvalezan

Overall: Came for a winter skiing week with 3 adults and 2 children. Everyone was very satisfied with this very nice chalet -- but prepare yourself for some low ceilings. Pros: Larger than we were expecting. Split toilet and shower helps with larger group. Lots of places to dry your wet items. Area outside for kids to play in snow with toys and sled(ge)s available. Sheltered picnic table just outside the front door. Able to borrow a variety of cooking equipment for making local delicacies. Extremely helpful host. Beautiful interior and exterior. Cons: You WILL bump your head on the large ceiling joist over the beds in the 3-bed room. No matter how much you think you have learned where it is, you haven't. On the last day while packing achieved concussion level impact with this joist, despite a week of experience. Other low areas such as over stairs could be an issue for a taller person. Garage has limited space for accessing vehicle and we parked only half into the garage.

Perfect accommodation for 4 people located in a quiet environment not far from the ski lifts and the city of Bourg Saint Maurice. Everything is functional and Catherine, the host is very available. I recommend it.

A cozy little nest surrounded by greenery. Celine's chalet is super cozy, there's nothing there. The small garden is lovely. The place is quiet and close to all amenities (shops, walk, lake...) in short we had a great stay. I recommend it.

Very nice apartment in a rustic Savoyard chalet, Alain and Sandra hosted me very well, quiet and close to a lot of activities, I would highly recommend it.

The Barillon cottage is in a green setting, lulled by the gurgling of a nearby spring and birdsong. The place, after a winding climb, is extremely peaceful and quiet, far from the din of the city and the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The view from the kitchen and terrace is well worth the climb! The cottage is equipped with all the comforts you need and the stove is there to warm up wet and cool days even at an advanced time of the season! For walkers, a few walks at the foot of the chalet, otherwise easily accessible by car. We had a great time! Plus, the hosts are lovely and attentive...

We stayed at Le Petit Chalet for seven days during Easter break. We had 2 adults and 3 children. The place was as it was shown in the pictures which was great. Andrea, the owner, was very good with communication, always courteous and helpful. When we arrived, we were greeted with Ms Piera who showed us around. The rooms were comfortable and the place was warm, inviting and clean. We had everything we needed to make our stay relaxing. Our children enjoyed their stay and as parents we felt very safe staying at Le Petit Chalet, which is the most important thing for us. Thank you Andrea and we look forward to rebooking in the future.

The chalet is stunning- really well designed inside and out, with unique features and a lot of love (and money) has been put into it. The pool and hot tub are excellent and well maintained. Rooms are lovely and the beds very comfortable The manager Ingrid was very helpful and responsive. Chalet was very clean on arrival. There are loads of great things to do in the area. The Carrefour Market at the bottom of the hill is excellent and had a great range of produce. However, there are a few things to note that aren't covered in the description and you may wish to be aware of before booking - The Annex with its 2 bedrooms are situated across the courtyard and not attached to the main house - The master bedroom doesn't have a toilet (although it does have a great shower and basin)- the toilet is downstairs - The live TV on the main living room TV wasn't working when we were there, and the internet can be quite slow from time to time, so ability to stream isn't guaranteed

Our stay at Chalet Tibos was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our wonderful host, Helene, whose communication and organization made the entire experience seamless. She was incredibly accommodating and ensured that every aspect of our trip was effortless and enjoyable. The chalet itself is stunning—a perfect blend of traditional Alpine charm and modern comfort. The interiors are beautifully designed, offering a cozy yet luxurious retreat after a day on the slopes. No Ski in Ski out but complimentary daily transfers to the slopes. Helene made this process incredibly easy and flexible, ensuring we could make the most of our skiing time without any hassle. After a long day on the slopes the sauna offered the perfect place to unwind. Note this fits 4 people. Transfers to / from the airport were organised by the host at a discounted rate of €580 return to Geneva.

We had an amazing week in the chalet. The place was superb for our group and we loved the sauna. They views are amazing and the location, although a steep walk away from the village centre, was not a problem at all as we had a private car park space right next to the gondola. We left our kit in the ski lockers by the gondola which made the things super easy and hassle free. My absolute favourite was the fresh bakery delivery every morning to our front door. Would highly recommend and stay here again.

Diane and her husband are extremely kind. Our arrival was very late because of the traffic jams and they troubleshooted us at the last minute for dinner!! Description of the accommodation very faithful, perfect for hosting a couple with their children (we had 3). Small coffee leaving on the last day by chatting. Perfect stay!

Beautiful and very cosy chalet. We had a very happy family gathering and really enjoyed our apres ski evenings in the chalet. Easy to get to Meribel skiing via lift in Les Allues. Very peaceful location to return back to each evening. Claire and her husband did a great job with this barn conversion.

Will’s chalet was the perfect place for a reunion of five old ski friends from days gone by. The steam room and the jacuzzi were a great addition to the chalet and well used. Will was a great host, always friendly and very responsive. Great value for money. Definitely recommended as a great place to stay. Your own transport is essential.

We had a great time in this nice cottage, both warm and very comfortable. The equipment is complete, nothing is missing to feel at home. Kids loved the games available, a real plus! The host is friendly, caring and always available when needed. We would definitely recommend it and will gladly come back!

We had a great time at Josiane's place; the setting is very beautiful, the accommodation is quiet and functional. We enjoyed our host's friendly welcome and hospitality. The location of the accommodation allowed us to make very nice hikes and access the heart of the village easily without taking the car.

We came to spend a few days with the family for the weekend of the ascent and the Maxi race. We had all the comforts in Marie and Rodolphe's cozy cottage located in a beautiful setting in Doussard. Our 4th crazy in cottages at this campsite and that's super nice. Thanks to Marie and Rodolphe for the clear instructions and their responsiveness. Nicolas

Nothing to report, great location, equipped and pleasant accommodation

Aboslutely the best location in the area. The view from all rooms is exceptional. I would not hesitate to book this property again. There is one thing of note, and this was not a problem for us, but something to be aware of. The house is a duplex. The large deck in front connects to the ajoining unit. It is owned by the same (very friendly) family. I hope to return to this wonderful place again soon.

Perfect accommodation for a family gathering, access close to the ski resort, very peaceful environment. The only downside in my opinion is the price of electricity to be added at the end of the stay. We had it for 107 euros without excess and without using the sauna ...
