Family-friendly vacation rentals in La Ribera

Our experience in Los Barriles was a GREAT adventure, to say the least! We have traveled to Mexico for decades and have done Resort stays in Cabo and Hotels in Zihuatanejo and more, but this was by far the best. John's place is very close to the water, perched up on a hill with a view to mesmerize you. We stayed in the Casita and woke every morning to orange, red and purple pink color saturated sunrises. The bright red colored Cardinal's bird song was music to our ears. It is tranquil and rejuvenating in this upscale hood. We had visits from many goats, cows, and kitties Buddy and Amber who became our friends. We fed all the animals! The town is close enough and far enough to keep this stay private and perfect. We snorkeled every morning below on the beach, ATV'd all the long stretch of beach and floated effortlessly in the Sea of Cortez daily. You cannot do that at the Resorts! All of John's suggestions are spot on for what and where to go. John is extremely responsive in all matters!

The photos don’t do it justice. The “compound” was amazing - private spaces, lovely gardens, lots of outdoor seating areas, beautiful pool, etc. It was the perfect spot for our family vacation, close to town and the beach, but quiet and restful. Wolf Management was incredibly responsive and accommodating. One of our best Airbnbs EVER. We’ll be back if/when we return to Los Barriles.

We had the most relaxing time in the most beautiful home and peaceful location. We felt so taken care of by Christian and the team at Sonadora. We will be back and with more friends and family!

Ezcellemt location and access to restaurnat, pools a d ocea.n

We stayed at Casa Pescadores for 16 days and loved it! Wolf Management is an excellent property management company and a few little problems that we had. They were very responsive. The house itself is on a perfect part of the beach in Los Barriles The pool, and the back deck facing the ocean, are absolutely amazing that where we spent most of the time. We would absolutely stay here again and loved. Some other reviewers have mentioned that the house needs a refresh. This is 100% accurate. However this did not diminish our enjoyment. However, it does lack some pride of ownership, and it kind of feels like the owners have thrown in the towel a little bit. They need all new kitchen pots and pans and a new interior paint job. And they should really upgrade the bedding and the interior furniture. The master bedroom has a new mattress, and it was very comfortable. The others not so much. However, we do recommend this place and we would love to stay here again even if they don’t paint it.

Edward and Fatima have a wonderful place. We had a large group and the place fit great. They were extremely responsive to requests and accommodating when something was not quite right. This is a great place for a group. We celebrated my 60th birthday with family and friends and it could not have gone better. Highly recommend Buenos Aires/Los Barrilos to anyone and Edward and Fatima's place for any fun group.

We stayed for the Bisbee East Cape Offshore Tournament and this was a wonderful place to come home to after a day of fishing. Even if there wasn't much catching... lol. The home is so colorful and bright and the deck is right on the beach with a gorgeous view of the Sea of Cortez and all the boats. We are so thankful to have found this home and plan on staying at Casa Harden again. Stay here. Go to the Spa Buena Vista or The Ranch and you will surely enjoy yourself.

Thea's Casita was! Far enough out of quad traffic to be peaceful and quiet yet close enough to the resources that we wanted to access including the beach very nice. Thea is a great host, and we highly recommend staying here.

Our stay was lovely -- paradise! Keep in mind it's a bit "rustic," but that was just what we were looking for. Definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed staying at Junior's place. The location is really beautiful. We really liked like outdoor kitchen and garden with the hammock and lounge chairs. Junior was a very friendly and helpful host.

We had a great stay at casa tortuga. The views and weather were absolutely amazing. We watched many whales breach and play from the upper patio. Beautiful location, off the beaten path and was exactly what we were looking for. Everything required for the house was there including a well stocked kitchen for cooking. John and joy were kind, helpful and quick to respond. We already loved Mexico but casa tortuga helped us love it a little bit more. Would stay again. Thank you John and Joy.

Absolutely superb. This home was so beautiful and well cared for. Tons of beautiful touches, incredibly comfortable and, great rooftop views. We will absolutely be back.

clean and comfortable and easy

This was the second time that we have stayed here for a month. The manager , Oscar, does an excellent job of maintaining the property. The house is located right on the beach. So serene that you can sit out front on the beautiful sandy beach the am and hardly see anyone. Several restaurants are within easy walking distance with great food. I highly recommend this AirBnB!

It’s not everyday your host very excitedly says, “I just saw fresh fox poop! So hopefully you’ll see him” :D And I did see the fox! And the insanely cute quail family and beautiful birds and so many kinds of cacti!!! So if you need to disconnect and recharge, you want to watch nature instead of reels- this is the place! The casita is well laid out and there are so many thoughtful touches! Beds are pretty comfy, kitchen has everything I’ve needed to cook all my meals for a week, the filtered water jug is great, and the littt Tu Le front porch area is lovely. The only thing that there isn’t is wi-fi at the casita, I just paid for extra data on my phone and am making it work (hotspot style) cuz everything else is fabulous. And when I need wi-fi walk 3 minutes up the road to their great back patio and enjoy the view while getting some work done. Muchas gracias por todo Britta y Brett :)

Repeat visitor and I will keep coming back year after year! If you're looking for a picture-perfect getaway that is reasonably priced and boasts the most amazing service...this is the spot! Roberto and his team always make things easy, from checking in, to helping coordinate transportation, to recommending the prefect spot for pizza, they are always on point. I cannot say enough about Oscar and his presence on the property. He is one of the most hardworking individuals I have encountered in my travels. While I know he has a million responsibilities, you would swear he is there just to ensure you have the most amazing vacation. It's always hard to leave. See you all next time!

Beautiful - also they have paddle boards.

The place is beautiful, just a block from the beach, for several days we could see mantarays jumping above water, which was magnificent. Cecilia was super responsive and very hospitable. The firepit is wonderful and we were happy to cook there. The house has all the necessary things to cook there and plenty of space. The pool is beautiful. The location is quiet and there's a small store close by to get very basic things. Do the grocery shopping before arriving and don't trust the internet connection very much as it is choppy and not very reliable. We had a wonderful time and would return any time.

Roberto’s place is situated perfectly between two resorts so you have many dining options if you want them. Having the paddle boards and kayaks available is a big perk! The pool and lounge area are magnificent! The beach is amazing, I like it better than the beaches in La Paz. Our casita was very cozy and had everything we needed.

Amazing location, access to resort amenities. Hosts were responsive and flexible with check in! Definitely recommend staying here and will hopefully be back!

Down to earth people. Great to communicate with. The neighbours are all great. One word of advice, if your partying and plan to stay here, the complex is mostly filled with mature people. It worked for us just fine because we are quiet and turn out the lights early. We will most certainly be back and if this is available, this will be our first choice.
