Come stay on the farm! 40 acre working hay farm with 2 ponds, starry nights, and beautiful views. Family friendly, 12 miles (~20minutes) south of downtown Durango and 15 minutes south of Walmart. This is located on our property right across the driveway from our house. *PLEASE, NO LOUD PARTIES, NO SMOKING(INSIDE OR OUTSIDE) NO DRUGS, NO DRIVING ON YARD/GRASS* *Parents: please be mindful of your kiddos as we do have ponds, large farm equipment, dogs (please just ignore them), cats, and horses*

We have been told it is of the most beautiful locations in Colorado! 15 minutes to downtown Durango, 20 minutes to Purgatory Ski Resort, and 5 minutes to the Hot Springs & a shopping plaza, and 40 minutes to the airport. There is a cafe/gas station/liquor store across the road. We also have another airbnb here with a spa deck!

We are close to the airport and hospital in the southern agricultural area of town. Beautiful views, simple living and comfort in this adorable custom apartment will have you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated! There are pets on the property and neighboring ranches galore. Guests will enjoy approx. 1800 sq. ft. of the upper level log home. Centrally located to downtown, airport, casino and popular tourists attractions. The home features a fireplace, Wi-Fi, and Satellite TV. Outside enjoy the deck, Hot tub, Barbeque Grill, Fire Pit and Horseshoe Pit. We live on the property, but separate from the log home and are here to help our guests as we can. Our rental agreement is for a total of 4 people and please note that children do count in that total.

Stay for work or relaxation in this unique and charming studio filled with custom furniture and cozy amenities. Property backs up to the Florida River and has a view of the local historic Rio Grande Railroad bridge used in the movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. The studio has Starlink internet, the coziest bed ever, cute kitchenette and heated floor bathroom. Plus a wood pellet fireplace! Just 18 min drive to downtown Durango and 8 minutes to the closest coffee shop!

Clean, quiet, and affordable! The owner is very helpful and communicative. I was surprised to see that there is no tv, but that’s my own fault for not reading all of the amenities of the listing. The internet is sketchy and worked intermittently. But if you’re looking for a clean and peaceful place that’s easy on your budget, I recommend staying here! I would stay here again.

Wow, we loved our 3 night stay at 2nd Wind! It was perfect for us to use as a base for the things we wanted to do. The casita is so thoughtfully appointed, right down to having beach towels we could use if we went to the hot springs (we did). We are two Minnesotans on a long road trip celebrating our 50th anniversary, and we are so grateful to have found 2nd Wind and such a welcoming host! We’ll be back if we can and we’ll surely recommend to others!

My husband and I absolutely loved staying in Bea’s camper! When we walked in, it looked like a brand new camper — absolutely pristine, like we were the first people who had ever stayed there! The bed was comfortable and the camper stayed warm at night. We also loved having a full kitchen and a beautiful view when we ate breakfast. There was also a ton of local wildlife in the area which was great to see — deer everywhere! The location was very easy to find and it was incredibly quiet and peaceful. Overall we loved this site and location and would love to stay here again in the future!

We stayed two nights in this location, using it as a base for day trips to Mesa Verde NP and geocaching/hiking in the area. It’s a bit removed from the city, so be sure to make sure you have everything you need as you probably won’t feel like driving back into town once you’re “home” for the evening. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and we slept well. We appreciated the full-size fridge, as well as tea/coffee in the mornings to get our day going. The animals on the property were pretty cute and quiet overall—we hard a horse whinnying maybe 2-3 times, a not unpleasant sound! Ronan the cat came around frequently for scritches when we were outdoors. The surrounding area is gorgeous and peaceful. When we inadvertently locked ourselves out of the apartment while loading up the day of our departure 😳 , Lorraine was lightning-fast with a solution (thank you!). Overall, we had a pleasant stay and it was just what we were hoping for.

We have stayed in many Airbnbs, this one is exceptional. The care and attention to detail that this family put into the space is so evident - from the curated outdoor space, Solo Stove for fires and s'mores, and comfortable bedding, to the little touches like Kodiak pancake mix, farm fresh eggs, local chocolate, tea and coffee - we absolutely loved it. And that view!! We felt like we were in Tuscany! :) We will definitely be back! Thank you!

What a hidden gem! I just needed a place to crash and ended up finding a place for future vacations in Durango. The room was immaculate. I could not ask for anything more than that. Edit was a very warm host and I felt at home with her and her family. The farm animals are amazing and petting baby goats before bedtime was an amazing and very soothing experience. Edit makes absolutely amazing goat chevre cheese and goat milk soap and shampoo were also wonderful. Thank you so much for a wonderful home for my trip.
