Vacation rentals with breakfast in La Plata County

Stayed in the River House...beautiful cabin on a charming creek. Delicious breakfast and lovely peek of the Rockies make it extra special. Highly recommend!

Great house for a family with two parents, two teens, plus one grandparent — there were a few confusing power switches and unclear how to operate fireplace in living room, but those were very small things; a great place for us while attending a family wedding in Mancos! Lorie Jean was very responsive to our few texts before arrival. The only significant surprise was that the house structure is shared with what looks like a small business or additional small residence — although it seems like there is no access to the rental house from the attached unit, we did hear people moving around in the attached areas a few times. No big deal :) Great spot in an amazing beautiful part of Colorado!

Really a great and nifty place to stay! Perfect location close to Purgatory and the hot springs. Would definitely stay again!

Cille is a wonderful host and goes the extra mile for guests. She was very accommodating of my needs during my stay and helpful - even going as far as to drive out and meet me when I was lost. The room is extremely clean and lovely with a personal bathroom and door lock that gives a lot of privacy. The surrounding area is very beautiful with lovely scenery.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay with Jodi and Walter. Their bed and breakfast was perfect - comfortable, cozy, nearby Purgatory ski area, and close to Durango if we needed anything. Jodi and Walter were very kind and helpful when we wanted to grill our dinner one evening. The hot tub was wonderful and relaxing after a long day skiing. And breakfast each morning was delicious! We will be back, and probably sooner than we think. Thanks!

The perfect bed and breakfast. Wonderful hosts, adorable dog, plenty of space in the home to relax, play games, drink coffee, and relax. Our bedroom was spacious and had everything we needed. Totally beats a hotel and paying for breakfast and parking. Our friends chose the hotel and fully regretted it. Book a room at this bed and breakfast! You won’t regret it and you’ll keep coming back! The host couple were fabulous. Super friendly and accommodating.

We LOVED LOVED LOVED our stay with Jodi and Walter. The room was huge with a lovely window overlooking the garden and a private bathroom. The place was so well set up, with multiple places to hang out and mingle with the other guests. We enjoyed chatting in the evening and morning with the other travellers and comparing travel notes. Jodi and Walter were great hosts, easy communication and access, local tips and the breakfast was perfect. We only wish we stayed longer than one night! We will definitely be back.

Hands down one of the best B&B's we have ever stayed at. The old world hospitality made us feel like we were in Europe. Everything from the warm greeting, to the custom soaps, to the welcome plate of cookies and beyond, Walter and Jodi gave us a very memorable stay. We look forward to staying here again. We felt completely at home as soon as we entered Jodi and Walter’s B&B. It felt like staying with lifelong friends. Jodi and Walter were such entertaining and welcoming hosts—we truly enjoyed every moment. Their recommendations were spot on for everything we were interested in, and breakfast was just right. And the bed… wow. I haven’t slept that well in months—it was incredibly comfortable and just what I needed. We’re so grateful for their hospitality and hope our paths cross again

What a hidden gem! I just needed a place to crash and ended up finding a place for future vacations in Durango. The room was immaculate. I could not ask for anything more than that. Walter was very gracious and explained in detail details. Everything I needed to know and the amenities that came with staying there are just additional bonuses. Thank you for the wonderful stay.
