Cottage vacation rentals in La Malbaie

This place was amazing - modern amenities in a historical home. Everything was clean, crisp and cozy! There was a beautiful forest walking trail just minutes from the house which led to a waterfall which was a great way to start the day. Quick ride in to Old Quebec for tours and shopping!

We had a great stay. The house is conveniently close to downtown Baie-Saint-Paul and an easy drive to Le Massif. This is the second year we have stayed here. The kitchen is well-equipped. The fireplace and hot tub are great to have. The beds are very comfortable. We will be back.

Our stay at Alex’s place was wonderful. Six adults enjoyed our the absolutely charming house with plenty of privacy. Each couple effectively had a floor to themselves, but there were great spaces to be together as well. We were 15 minutes from old Quebec, 10 minutes from Montmorency. The house was perfect for our group, beautifully old world charming. Parking was easy and Alex’s communication was superb: he was very responsive and clear. I would not hesitate to stay there again. Wonderful place. The view over the fields was so peaceful. Not much view over the river. The house was bright and big rooms. This is the place for peace and quiet.

This chalet is ideally located in front of the river, with a very low traffic street at the front of the property. We loved watching the changes in the scenery over the weather and going for a walk on the beach. The cottage is very spacious, tastefully decorated and well-equipped.

Very nice house. There is only one bedroom with a door and privacy. But really perfect for a family. Very satisfied, thanks for having us!

I don’t know how to convey our delight and satisfaction with Bernard and Francine as our hosts. They met us at check in and spent a great deal of time going over everything and recommending sights, experiences and eating establishments. We felt so at home in their beautiful home and so appreciated their amazing hospitality. Thank you so very much. We will be back again and again!!!

Beautiful charming house with a lot of character. Located on a rural road, you can hear the birds, the land is beautiful (even the possibility of picking organic oregano!) Clean bathrooms and shower with good pressure. Several fans on site, which is appreciated with the heat. We were in the season of hay cutting and manure spreading, so some noises and smells, but that comes with being in the countryside. Just like the presence of a few ants, nothing major, but we see them pass by. When leaving, you are asked to do the dishes, but probably the previous tenants were not super diligent, several cutlery and utensils very dirty.

Andréanne was a responsive, thoughtful, and honest host whose property felt like it was from a storybook. The home sits on a beautiful plot of land right next to a historic church, and has ample backyard space as well. The rooms were clean and charming, and easily slept our party of 15. Any questions we had were answered in minutes, and check-in/check-out couldn’t have been easier. I truly recommended this gem of a spot for your next Quebec getaway!

We had a great time in Avignon. The house was really very beautiful and perfect for our group of 8 people including 3 children. It is very well located on the island and really close to Quebec City. Frederique was a great host, very responsive and very accommodating. Really a great getaway! I would highly recommend it.

Great spacious house in a great location, walking distance to the water and a 13 km trail. House had everything you needed; pots, pans, oils and spices. I can’t wait to stay again!

Lovely stay, very clean . We felt right at home and there were gorgeous views! It was slightly smaller than we expected but still a large space. Would book again!

Thank you for everything! The place is beautiful, a stone's throw from the Cabaourons trail. The place is great, large, spacious and bright. There are all sorts of little touches that make the difference: spices, tupperware, condiments in the fridge. It's greatly appreciated!
