Vacation rentals with breakfast in La Crosse

Place was spacious and had everything we needed. Neighborhood was quiet and safe. Beds were very comfortable. Carly was responsive to each of our questions. The nearby Black River was ideal for kayaking. The Foundation Trail from the visitor center was a surprisingly scenic and shaded walk in the heart of the city. We'd stay again.

Rebecca is a wonderful hostess - very kind, and fun to talk with! Her home and the surrounding area is absolutely beautiful and the European breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend her place and would love to come back.

I had a nice stay! It’s definitely a great spot to stop on a long road trip or to explore central Wisconsin.

Very relaxing and comfortable! We used the porches as it was very nice out that weekend! We walked to the bar/restaurant on the corner and it was great to be so close. We cooked and used the kitchen and most everything we needed was there! We drove to Creekside Winery and a Brewery in the area and had a great time at both places. The big antique shop downtown was a great place to walk through on Sunday morning!

We stayed at Carly’s for two nights and had no problems and were very comfortable.

The Zimmer Frei was exactly what I needed, with a comfortable room and bed to sleep in, a nice bathroom, and quiet. The next morning, we chatted over some good coffee—a very enjoyable conversation. Very nice folks and a place I will use again if I need to be overnight in Tomah.

Norma Jean & Daryl are welcoming, kind hosts with an absolutely beautiful property! They were attentive to our safety as there was winter weather and helpful at every turn. My friend & I were celebrating a milestone birthday and had a perfect stay at their place.

Apartment in Winona - Treetops Suite is a great getaway in a little college town. There is a spacious main room and open area kitchenette (hot plate, toaster oven, microwave, sink, mini-fridge) and the two bedrooms (one ?full-size? bed and then two twins) are cozy - not tight or cramped. The apartment was clean and quiet. They had some food (milk, eggs, bagels, oranges, PeanutButter, jam) stocked in the fridge. The step-in shower has very hot water that is not difficult to adjust to a warm setting. The apartment is located just off the Winona State University campus and the first night we stayed we walked downtown for dinner. The stairs to the place are moderately steep - as the hosts mention in the write-up. This is not an issue (and adds to the ambience) unless you have some mobility challenges. There are railings on both sides. Thanks. This would be my preferred spot to stay if I was passing through Winona again.

The perfect place in Winona. Literally takes only 2minutes to get WSU. And also takes around 10minutes to get downtown. Cafes and restaurants are located within 5-10minutes from this house. Not only the environment near the house but also the hosts are really good. They are the most kind and lovely host I had met before. Perfect communication and taking care of all my situation to get there. If I may go to Winona again, I will surely reserve this place again. We loved our stay here. It was a beautiful home that was close to the main street and attractions. We were even able to walk to the Rubiyat restaurant and enjoy an evening stroll. The bed was comfortable and the room was perfect for the two of us. Melissa made a delightful breakfast and the most delicious pumpkin scones. My only regret was I didn't stuff more in my pockets. :) Check in was easy and there was no problem getting in. We did end up leaving before breakfast on our last day and hadn't received check out instructions before hand. We sent a text and got a quick response although we had already left. The stay was more expensive than we would normally like to spend, we have stayed at other bed and breakfasts and paid much less. We imagine the prices were inflated because there was an event in town.

This was a great place to stay, very cozy! Extremely comfy bed, awesome bath, cute 4 season porch with lots of light!

Barb and Jeff’s home is absolutely stunning. It’s like walking into a better homes and gardens or Martha Stewart magazine. Loved all the attention to detail in the rooms, at breakfast, and the general area. We appreciated access to coffee/tea/hot chocolate and bottled water as well. The grounds are lovely and wish we’d had more time to enjoy the fire pit and gardens! Breakfast was amazing and liked that she even made some things that were native to the area. Fresh herbs in the water and lavender everything 💜 Thank you for restoring this beautiful home, and giving it your whole heart! Loved the lavender to take with (and the seeds). Thanks so much for having us stay!

I loved loved loved this Bed and Breakfast experience! It was quintessential, charming, comfortable, and quaint. They have a true gift of hospitality which shows through the beautiful room and home and all the details, not to mention the delicious breakfast. I 100% look forward to staying here again when Im visiting Winona.

Top notch. Memories were made here. Collecting eggs, bottle feeding goats, walking up the hill with the goats and the fairy house. My 4 year old grandson can’t stop talking about. Amazing hosts.

SO. MUCH. FUN. If you ever thought staying on a farm might be fun, this is perfect! The accommodations are clean, quiet and comfy and the breakfast is amazing. We took a short hike on the farm's hill and had about 30 goats follow us up the trail and back down, which was an amazing and delightful experience that brought huge smiles to our faces! Everyone on the farm was kind and so were all the animals! We'd totally stay again!!
