Apartment vacation rentals in La Croix-Rousse, Lyon

We loved staying at Charlotte’s home! It felt so calm and comfortable for our nearly week long stay, which was just what we were looking for. And we loved the location - we are big walkers and walked almost everywhere from the flat, but it also is well connected by bus to the main train station and close to the metro that we took to the stadium for a soccer match. It was a very close walk to some of our favorite restaurants, too. Charlotte was super nice and always very responsive. We would love to stay here again if we are back in Lyon!

Had a pleasant stay at Henri's. Located on the §th floor, the apartment is quiet, spacious and bright. A few cleanliness details would have deserved more attention but the whole thing was very satisfactory. The neighborhood is peaceful, family-friendly, and authentic. Convenience stores and restaurants are very easy to walk.

This place was an absolute gem. I had a few days relaxation in Lyon and the flat is beautiful. The area is quiet and peaceful with plenty of bars and restaurants. The flat itself is comfortable, clean and I immediately felt at home. Anita and Philippe were so helpful and accommodating . It really was a joy to stay here and I will be back. Many thanks for making my time in Lyon so pleasant.

Great apartment, great stay. Location was perfect, within easy walking distance to all points in Croix Rousse, including the Place de Croix Rousse and other points of interest, including boulangeries, a Monoprix, and many shops and restaurants. Check-in was easy with Lia, who showed up on time and was quick to answer any answers or concerns. Apartment was on second floor, with easy access, and the typical "Canute" decor was fine. Upstairs bedroom had a low ceiling, but that is standard in these types of buildings, which originally housed silk looms and were converted later. Place was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Overall, a wonderful place highly recommended.

Very nice apartment, located on the fourth floor, ideally located in Lyon. The first arrondissement is within walking distance, which makes sightseeing much easier. The place is comfortable and as described. We had a great time!

Laurent is the epitome of a super host! He had wonderful guidebooks and a map for us, spent time getting us oriented and gave us terrific dinner recommendations. He had a second set of keys for our son who visited. The place is just like the photos, and because we stayed for a month he even provided a cleaning service. The parking is in back of the building and very secure. Most importantly, though, Laurent was incredibly helpful during a crisis. We cannot thank him enough! We heartily recommend Laurent and his lovely apartment.

Beautiful, individual apartment that is super well thought out. Modern bathroom and everything you need. The location is basically also good, bus and subway are easy to reach.

Olivier was so delightful to deal with, very responsive and detailed! The spacious apartment was modern but also had old world charm in the large exposed beam and stone work. There were a few lovely restaurants within a 5-10 min walk and the old part of Lyon just a 20 minute walk away! He was so flexible when we arrived early and allowed us to drop our luggage so we could explore Vieux Lyon until check in. It was a bit warm as the AC hadn’t yet been activated but all the fans helped overcome that! Overall we would highly recommend this lovely property. Thank you Olivier!

perfect location to do everything on foot. great ease of communication with Fabrice, very responsive, impeccable cleanliness, quiet, very secure access. the only downside is parking when traveling by car but Fabrice gave us all the possibilities that we could explore. i shared a meal with antoine one evening. as we chatted over wine, i asked him what the years of travelling has taught him. he replied simply: “people are good. everywhere.”. our conversation moved to other things, but not long after, a young boy came to the window and said hello. in an act so fluid as to be second nature, antoine gave the boy some of his meal. later, another boy appeared, and the cycle repeated. i share this story because its emblematic of the generosity i experienced during my three weeks at antoine’s home. antoine is a community organizer, a volunteer and active participant in the neighborhood. he is kind, he is light hearted, and he is curious about others. he is a neighbor everyone would be lucky to have. whatever your travel plans are, if you have the opportunity to stay here- do it. i havent traveled as much as antoine has, and i can’t speak on the “goodness” in people all over our world, but in his home, there in the 1st arrandesmont- i absolutely agree.

A big thank you to Arnaud and his family for their warm and kind welcome!:) Arnaud was super available, he shared great places with us. We had a great time in the heart of Croix-Rousse, a very nice and ideally located neighborhood, with everything nearby for a trip with a child: playground, bookstore, bakery, cafes, restaurants, and even the nearby market, with fresh produce every day. We'll be back with pleasure! I would recommend this place without hesitation!!

🌟 A perfect stay in Lyon! 🌟 I had a great time at this ideally located Airbnb in Lyon. The apartment has absolutely stunning views of the city. Very clean, well maintained, and tastefully decorated, you immediately feel good there. The neighborhood is perfectly located, with very good restaurants within walking distance and a pleasant atmosphere. Whether you're exploring the city or just relaxing, the location is really great. A big thank you to the hosts, very welcoming and responsive, always available to answer my questions and make sure everything runs smoothly. I would recommend it without so much so as to be happy to come back!

Clément was a great, responsive host and the apartment itself was a wonderful base of operations for our visit to the greater Lyon area. The kitchen has everything you need to make great meals at home, but you have the option to enjoy a wide variety of cuisines within 10 minutes walking distance. To sum up it’s a convenient location with good access to transportation and supplies. The neighborhood has a youthful feel to it, and we felt safe at all times. I would like to add that the beds, linens and towels were all of high-quality, and the water pressure was great!

Great accommodation near Lyon, accessible by transport (bus, tram...). Quiet residence and great, easy-to-use jacuzzi. We recommend! Thanks to Antoine who is a responsive and very friendly host.
