Vacation rentals with a fireplace in La Chapelle-en-Vercors

This is the most beautiful place we’ve ever stayed. The house itself is a work of art and it has everything you need to feel right at home. The garden right outside your door makes you feel like you’re living in a fairy tail. The place is so quiet and peaceful, all you can hear is the sound of birds and the stream that runs passed the garden. Andreas and Gabriella are sweet and kind and they were available whenever we needed them, but the place still feels like a totally private Airbnb. There is so much hiking and exploring to do in the surrounding areas, we spend a full day exploring Chartreuse and it was spectacular. Overall, if you’re debating whether you should stay here, do it! It was a highlight of our trip.

Very nice rental, tastefully decorated by Jean Marie who is a pleasant and attentive host. The setting is very nice and the large bay windows of the house with views of the surrounding mountains give a lot of charm to the house Recommended!

We had a great time at this cottage. The view is breathtaking, no noise, only birds chirping. The accommodation is functional, nothing missing, and very clean. We recommend it 100% to anyone who needs to disconnect from their hectic life. Very friendly welcome from the owner.

A change of scenery guaranteed by cows, at the end of the road, breathtaking scenery. Our hosts were very attentive, and we enjoyed the friendly and family atmosphere of this cottage that we feel to have been inhabited with love

Martine and Christian were amazing! The gîte is impeccable, very clean and well equiped, lots of activities to do around ranging from 10 to 30 mins away by car. The dogs are very sociable, the nature around is breathtaking. For sure we will go again to explore the region a bit more.

We had a fantastic stay in the mountains for our first family skiing trip. The property felt very homely and it was a very short walk to the ski school, local shops and restaurants. Tom and Maude were very welcoming and we hope to come again!

An absolutely idyllic stay in Vercors! We spent the weekend in this beautifully renovated sheepfold, a haven of peace nestled in the heart of breathtaking landscapes. The place was incredibly quiet, perfect for relaxing, and the hosts were remarkably kind. Everything was impeccable and thought out to make our stay as pleasant as possible. A place to recommend without hesitation!

The apartment is very well located, 5 min walk to the village. Very nice mountain views from the kitchen and terrace. The apartment is very well decorated and functional. There is everything you need in the kitchen, toys for children... Jean-Pierre was always available and responsive. We had a great time in this beautiful apartment.

The four of us (with two children) spent one night in Philippe's apartment in transit. Everything was as described and we were able to recover very well for the onward journey.

Cottage reserved as part of a sports course we were doing nearby. We were well received there but given the reason for our stay, we could not enjoy a pleasant private outdoor area and the services made available in the cottage; with the exception of one appreciable point; the fact that we were able to recharge our rechargeable hybrid car every evening.

Elisabeth was quick to respond to any queries about our booking, and very welcoming when we arrived. There had been a leak from the upstairs apartment just before our stay which Elisabeth felt really bad about but she did all she could to make us comfortable and it didn’t impact us very much at all. The apartment is very homely and conveniently located for shops and restaurants in a lively part of town. The kitchen is well stocked with supplies and equipment. We enjoyed our stay and Elisabeth kindly let us stay later on check-out day.

Perfect place to make a stop in Grenoble. Parking is a big plus , located not far from the Intermarché on foot Linens and towels were clean ++ The kitchen could be slightly better provided but ok for qlq night Coffee and tea and cupcakes provide very nice 👍🏼 Check-in and perfect communication

We have stayed in many Airbnbs before, but our experience with Annie was truly unbeatable! She is an amazing host, kind, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel right at home, even going out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. We are beyond grateful for her hospitality and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

4-day stay for 2 adults and 3 children in Thomas' beautiful apartment, very well suited for us. Clean accommodation on arrival, beds made that smell like laundry and towels available. We had a pleasant stay and Thomas was always available for our needs or questions, he is a perfect host! The village is a 5-minute walk and it's good to walk there. The only comments I would have to make, and this is only my opinion, is the lack of shutters in the accommodation, the absence of a safety barrier upstairs for younger children and to be careful on the stairs, which are a little steep. But we'll keep this address for sure!

We had a great weekend with the family in this very pleasant accommodation on the banks of the Isere. The setting is beautiful and quiet, ideal for relaxing. Easy access to the area is a real plus. We highly recommend it!

We had a great Airbnb experience renting Bastien's house. We loved this modern building on one level set in a green setting. Well laid out, well-equipped, very comfortable and functional, we felt right at home. The two terraces that communicate directly with nature offer different living spaces for every moment of the day. The view of the surrounding mountains is mind-blowing and the tranquility of the place is a delight. The open-air hot tub is a plus. Bastien, although we haven't seen him, is a lovely host who responds quickly to any messages. We highly recommend Bastien's house to all nature lovers who want to spend a quiet stay away from the noise and frenzy of cities.

Beautiful house with a breathtaking view. Everything is present in the accommodation to ensure you have a good time. The pool (although vigilance is essential with children because there is no barrier) is superb and everything is maintained with care. We highly recommend it.

An idyllic week in this welcoming and well-located cottage to feast on beautiful walks and take in your eyes. The cottage is well equipped for a stay "like home" and although we enjoyed beautiful weather at the end of April, the small fire in the stove in the evening was a warmest! We just want to come back...
