Vacation rentals in Kyotango

We spend a couple of days at Ruru’s place and really enjoyed it. The ground floor is fantastic with and open space between kitchen and living room. The bathtub is absolutely fantastic. The only watch out are the mattresses on and room with the 2 beds, but we asked for an additional one and it was promptly supplied. Great stay!

I stayed with 20 people on a seminar trip. Before the stay, they handled questions about the accommodation thoroughly, which was very helpful. Even if I actually used it, it was well equipped, and I was satisfied with the inconvenience. If you have another chance, thank you.

This was a magnificent, absolutely perfect stay in Kyoto. The hosts are very friendly, hospitable, helpful in all matters; special thanks for the welcome goods! We fell in love with the house instantly. There are all the facilities you might need ever in your life, the atmosphere is exactly what we wanted from traditional house in Kyoto. It was very clean, cozy and just magical. We took very good memories with us from this stay. Also bikes were available which was very convenient, since Kyoto is the place to sightsee on bicycle.

Tokuji-San is a wonderful host and has crafted a beautiful space away from the crowds. It’s comfy, cozy and peaceful with beautiful touches to enhance the experience. Everything is new, and the space is well designed functionally and very aesthetically pleasing. The renovation combines contemporary comforts with traditional craftsmanship. Tokuji-San is also always very responsive to questions or recommendations even before arrival so we always felt very safe. We will definitely be back and will book early to make sure we can 😊

Our family had a terrific stay! The house had a great authentic Japanese atmosphere and was situated in a quiet and local area. There were many amenities, restaurants, shops, playground and a great cafe nearby - all within walking distance. The proximity to Nijo-jo was very convenient and many tourist sites were just a short bus trip or inexpensive taxi ride away. We would definitely recommend this house for a short stay in Kyoto!

Yoshimi’s place was in a nice quiet neighborhood and it was extremely clean! There are 3 flights of stairs but we really appreciated Yoshimi and her friend helping us with our luggage. There’s no blackout curtains so it gets a little bright in the morning but overall, we loved the place! Thank you, Yoshimi!

Lovely house on a quiet street - highly recommend Yakiniku Steak restaurant just up the road.

Will stay again next visit

The location of the house is very comfortable. The atmosphere of Kyoto is very good. You can walk to Kinkakuji Temple. What was lacking in the US was that it was very bright at night when sleeping at night with the street light right outside the room window right next door
