This was an ideal spot to explore the area. The unit was bigger than I expected & I was surprised to see a private enclosed garden. Bed incredibly comfortable. Thanks for a great stay.

Great area, very safe. Feels homely, nice and private, has all you need... you can relax at the home or walk to the beach, plenty activities to do in Ballito. Jo is an awesome host, she started communication a few months earlier already, checking up on us and our preferences. Property was made ready by 10am for us but we could only arrive later because of our long drive. My 5 year old loved the hammock. Maggie was a lovely companion, popping by whenever she was hungry or wanted a rub. Rosie also took care of the cleaning daily, over the festive season, a great plus to free up holiday time. Highly recommended and would visit again!

Barbara was a lovely host, the house is well resoursed and close to shops. The house is perfect for a family of 6. We had a nice Xmas break. You share the property with other people in a cottage.

This delightful family seaside cottage was a great stay for a large family, great value for money and great location. The place was clean and welcoming; as you enter the front door, you can see the ocean view. There is plenty space for everyone to stretch out and relax, lots of seating and dining areas both inside and outside on the sea facing porch. There are double stacking doors which open and maximise the living space (and the magic). There is a private entrance to the beach with a short and easy walk to the beach. My brother has a physical disability and uses crutches, and he was able to easily navigate this path to beach and back, and this is an extremely rare bonus feature. Big bedrooms with comfy beds, and ample cupboard space for your clothing & luggage. Every room has powerful ceiling fans. The showers were hot, and the pressure was great! A big garden space for kids to run around in and a swing to keep them entertained. A well-stocked kitchen with all the items you’d need; all very clean and well presented. Alexandra’s communication is superb – from immediate initial contact to instructions beforehand and to check everything was ok once we had checked in. Fortunately, Michael is also on site, knows the property, knows how everything works and was very accommodating to our needs/requests. We could not have asked for a better location. Overall a wonderful place; We would definitely recommend, as we feel so lucky to have found this little treasure along the beautiful South Coast.

A lovely beach holiday! This was our second stay. Our family stayed at Clovelly in January 2021 - we were a group of 4 adults and 3 children. There was more than enough space, including a cottage. The house has everything you will need for a beach holiday - no need for beach towels/umbrellas/boogie boards etc The kitchen is fully equipped and now has a nespresso machine. The house itself is right on the beach - a small pathway down makes it such a pleasure and it's surrounded by trees which gives it a secluded feel. Outside shower, nice green grass for games, tree swing, TV with DSTV etc There is also a domestic lady who helps daily - this makes it a real holiday as well.

Always fantastic to come back to this place.

We loved our 2 night stay at KarMichael Farm. The Rose Cottage was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The views were so beautiful overlooking the farm. The heated blankets on the beds were fantastic as it was very chilly at night. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a place to stay in Himeville - it’s very close to the Glencairn Wedding venue too.
