Villa vacation rentals in Kwale County

Lucia's place was an amazing stay for my friends and I. We had the pleasure of renting out all the villa's on Lucia's property which was ideal for a large group such as ourselves. So please consider this location for both small or large groups as the place can easily accommodate both options. The villas are in a nice location with easy access to a beach which is a few metres away on foot. It was easy to find the location on Google Maps and through the pin shared by Lucia and her team. There are also a couple of restaurants and cafes in the area if you would like to venture out and explore. Lucia has maintained the villas very well, keeping them spotless clean, tidy and well fitted with accessories such as portable fans, day beds, lounge pillows, daybeds, extra towels etc. She has a great team of staff who were courteous, extremely helpful , well mannered and happy. We also noted that Lucia was hands on and in some cases worked alongside her team completing chores. Lucia lives close to the property and occasionally popped in to check on us but still provided us with privacy to enjoy our holiday. She was also kind enough to give us a New Year's gift which was nice touch. Lucia had a team of chefs available as part of the stay and they made us some amazing meals. The breakfast options were tasty and non-monotonous. I also highly recommend having the chefs make you some Seafood as they made us some of the most tasty seafood we've ever had. The place is also very secure. There was a guard available who would reconfirm with us any visitors before letting them in and there is also a lockable garage area if you come with a car. Overall, our stay was great. We had a lot of fun, the place was clean and the staff were always at hand to help us with anything we asked for such as booking massage sessions at the villas, covid testing, taxis etc. I highly recommend the place as you can feel Lucia's personal which makes the place feel like a home away from home.

Absolute rustic beach-front paradise and such a lovely team of staff! Ocean views are stunning and tennis court is a lot of fun. Jacquie is amazingly responsive and so helpful. Thank you so much!

We had a great stay at nature’s villa! The villa is a bit far off the main road down dirt roads but we had hired a car so it wasn’t a problem and when we used taxis and tuk tuks they had no problem finding the villa. As it’s further off the main road it does mean it’s much more peaceful when you’re there! House is great, pool and outdoor space is great and we especially loved having Max the very friendly German shepherd there, my kids wanted to take him home!!! James the house caretaker is very friendly and helpful and always smiling!

This place was outstanding! Beautiful setting, beautiful house with guest houses for our large group. The staff at the house really made it so special for us. Shadrack cooked us amazing meals (we didn’t need to go out for meals!) and catered for dietary requirements. Hassan also made us feel so welcome and the place was kept very clean. We had a very relaxing time and would happily return.

This was one of our favourite air bnbs. Elizabeth and Duca (staff) were fabulous and Cynthia cooked us a couple of delicious dinners. Great communication, Michal helped us book some great adventures and we found it easy to get around. Super friendly folks in Diani. If you want a great place to relax with tons of space this can’t be beat. Just remember to close the doors or the monkeys will try to join you 😂

We had a lovely stay here, so peaceful and in a great location so close to the beach. Plenty of restaurants to eat at, we enjoyed The Salty Squid & Kokko. Juliana the house manager was great and really responsive and helpful with all requests. Will be staying here again when we return to Kenya. Thank you ☺️

Fantastic location for a peaceful getaway location. The beach has barely anyone and we had a great time enjoying the beach The garden, pool was spacious and huge. Children loved the space. We enjoyed the food prepared by the chef please note this is a separate cost/arrangement. Omari also organised our transfer from the airport and back. It was an approximate 2hrs drive from Mombasa international airport. I would highly recommend this location. The staff were very welcoming and so was the environment.

Ibis was beautiful and exactly what I needed for a holiday. It was private and had enough space for my family. Siraj the Chef was great and I would recommend his butter chicken and grilled lobster. The salt pool was cleaned daily and we were well sunned and fed. It really did feel like a private luxury escape. Access to the beach is via the public access path which is paved but we found it nicer to access the beach via any of the fantastic restaurants that were nearby - although we didn't want to really go anywhere because Siraj's cooking and the house was more than enough to keep us from leaving. Ibis is just at the beginning of Galu and they have contacts for a very polite taxi driver if you need one. Noelle the host was very professional and responsive. I highly, highly recommend staying at Ibis.

The villa is large and beautifully built and decorated. Looks exactly like the pictures. Thomas was extremely accommodating of us - a larger than average group and we had the most wonderful time. Thank you for accommodating some of our more particular requirements. It made the space that much more enjoyable. The chef’s team Duncan, Brighton and Morgan were amazing - every meal was delicious. Grace and the housekeeping team kept the place meticulous. Overall one of my favourite holiday spaces so far!

Absolutely beautiful! Location is perfect. The house is stunning, with plenty of space for large groups, a lovely pool and breathtaking view. The staff were amazing and took great care of us. An unforgettable holiday!

Our stay at Azhari Suites was AMAZING..the bungalow was cozy with a breathtaking view from any time and place on the property. The service was on another level, prompt response from Nicole and her staff. We never lacked anything we requested for. The breakfast was 101% well served at the time of our choosing...and omg!the privacy was all that we hoped for..its the perfect place to hide and have the peace and space you need. We are definitely coming back.

Come for the views, stay for the food! What a beautiful spot with tons of space to spread out. The house and grounds were gorgeous, located on a pristine beach, yet relatively private. The staff were all super helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Pool was refreshing, yet surprisingly deep. Chef Nixon made us amazing seafood dishes all week. Only draw back was the lack of A/C in the bedrooms, which most comparably priced stays offer in the area. Check out the kite surfing, SUP, and kayaking rentals right next store. During low tide, head straight out half a mile to the sandbar and enjoy hunting for starfish!

Wonderful place to stay right on the beach. There are 2 separate houses in one compound. Connected by a private drive that is patroled and manned by security. Full house staff included minus the chef. Jacinda was able to set us up with a chef and staff to help prepare meals for our large group of 16. We rented both homes which worked great for our large family. The beach is pristine and has plenty to do with camel rides and kiteboarding right in front of the house. I would highly recommend this property.

My family enjoyed our stay here. They loved the beautiful outdoors and pool. The rooms were well designed and maintained. The place is quiet and relaxing, we barely had to leave because we had everything we needed provided for within it. Short distances to the store and restaurants. The housekeeping services were excellent and the chef outdid themselves in preparing us tasty meals and drinks.

This was my second time at Amber Villa and it's still as amazing as I left it. Communication from Andreas was fast and the chef Emmanuel was a delight to interact with. Really enjoyed the pool and the fish ponds by the entrance. We were very grateful to be allowed late check-out due to a late flight, and even then, we wished we had more time. Lovely house, even better experience.

The Makuti house is a beautiful, spacious house where I felt right at home. It is located on a screened, guarded area with some houses and a very nice swimming pool right next to the house. In the neighborhood there are shops for food, clothes, but also beautiful African fabrics. A little further away but easily accessible interesting places to visit. A beach is 1 km away. So a very nice place to use as a base.

The house is in a great location, less than a 10 minute walk to Galu Beach and less than a 10 minute ride to anywhere in Diani. The house itself had a lovely pool area and porch. All 3 bedrooms had air conditioning that worked well. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean. Dickson, the manager, was very responsive with any questions or needs and even let us check out late because we were taking the night train. We have stayed at several places in the Diani area, and this has been our favorite so far. We will definitely see if it is available the next time we visit!

Thank you to Carlos, Fasber, and Dominic – it was an awesome stay! The place is quiet, very beautiful, and perfect for relaxing. The pool was also fantastic. Dominic took very good care of everything – he’s really thoughtful and makes sure the guests feel comfortable. I can highly recommend it and would definitely come back to unwind again.

This was a wonderful stay, the workers were kind and understanding. The recommended chef (Margret) was amazing. The place looked like how the photos are. The pool is amazing location is very nice. The worker John was so helpful. The AC worked wonderfully. This place is worth every single penny me and my friends paid. I had a wonderful time and will most definitely be back.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Perfect Stay in Msambweni! Our stay at this beautiful Airbnb in Msambweni was nothing short of amazing. The home was exceptionally clean, peaceful, and perfect for a family getaway and to top it all it was just a 5mins walk to the beach ⛱️. What truly made our stay special was the people. George and Saa, the staff, were warm, helpful, and always ready with a smile. Their hospitality made us feel right at home. And Mary, the host, was simply wonderful—kind, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive to every detail. She made sure our experience was perfect from start to finish. We can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and family-friendly retreat on the Kenyan coast! Faith

Great week in Diani with our two daughters! Manager Suleyman is great! Very helpful, always smiling while Ayshe prepares like a chef what you ask him! Beautiful pool in an eden garden and super nice house! Very good relationship with the owners Oxana and Mathias! We hope to be able to come back;)
