Shalom Cottages is an awesome place to be in. The owner is quite understanding and can accommodate any small changes in the timelines. The environment is clean. The swimming pool area is clean. It is a second home to people with a family. The staff, Gibran, is always ready to help. Amazing experience. Would highly recommend.

We only had to stay 4 nights… and we finally stayed for more than 2 weeks. A real little green paradise, at a distance from the large resorts along the beach but still close to small local shops and the beach, within walking distance day or night. We also did yoga with Michael and Aura, perfect before our kitesurfing sessions. For sure, if we return to Diani, we will choose Heavenly Gardens again.

Lilly is a great host and the place is AMAZING for value. It is not only peaceful and quiet, but it has all the amenities like a full kitchen (stove, fridge, teapot, and cooking utensils), bed with netting, Netflix, Internet, bathroom with hot water. Even has a crib for young children. The place feels safe and secure, perfect for your Diani vacation or even digital nomading.

A friend of mine stayed at Susans place. It is private - a private pool all for yourself! It is functional and it is spacious. The road noise is there, but on the other hand it is a central location just in the heart of Diani Beach. It could use a little bit more charming interior / design and it was a bit pricey compared to similar offers, but overall my friend would like to return and recommends it to anyone.

First time to Mombasa for us and from the US. Carol was very helpful and responsive. Her host that met us at the house was very sweet and always attentive to our questions and needs. We did feel very safe because we were in a gated community and then in a gated compound. Our favorite place was on the outdoor patio with the table and chairs where it seemed to be much cooler. We had all the equipment we needed to make our own meals and having the refrigerator was a real asset. The house was very close to where we needed to be daily which really made it a good place for us to stay while on Mombasa.

I was in Diani for a diving certification. This was a perfect place to stay. Location is easily accessible and close to great restaurants. Pool was a great amenity to have and cool off. We used the kitchen for breakfast but ate at the various restaurants in the area for all other meals. Restaurants had decent/ good food. Hosts were always quick to respond. I would recommend this place for a peaceful holiday get away. Will definitely stay here again for future diving trips.

The house was excellent and clean. The pool was well maintained and clean and lots of fun for the family. The grounds were beautiful and cared for. Great location to the beach and a diving school. Close to grocery stores and good dining. Transportation via tuktuk or uber is readily available. The recommended chef did a great job with every meal and he was friendly, but unobtrusive. Most importantly, Anne, the hostess , was giving, responsive, helpful, pleasant, and just a nice person. Thank you for letting us stay with you, Anne! Be blessed! Jon and Nadia

Maria is a great host. The house is in a secure location, near the beach and you can visit lots of places from there. The caretaker is also responsive and ready to assist. It's a wonderful house for a family and makes a home away from home. I would definitely visit again

Nice private cottage with 24h security, pool, fans, equipped kitchen, wifi worked well. for putting a but the bathroom faucet and the cistern do not have a lot of pressure and it is difficult to use comfortably. the very good and cool pool.
