This is a private lodging limited to one group per day, where you can cook in Hanare, which is adjacent to the main house of a rice-growing farmer.

This is a small mountain village in the Nakayama Mountains in southern Shiga Prefecture, where the countryside spreads out with seasonal rural landscapes, birds chirping, and the sound of insects as BGM. At night, it is dark except for the street lights, and the starry sky is beautiful and quiet. You can stay overnight and eat out, or cook with family and friends in the kitchen. We provide the farmer's prized rice and onigiri ingredients, so please cook them in an earthenware pot or rice cooker and enjoy. If you don't cook, you can take it home. To sleep, lay a futon (long size) and sheets on the mattress, and put a duvet over it. (There is no bed) There are towel blankets in the summer and blankets and electric blankets in the winter. Access is about 2 minutes, 1 km from the Sugiyama Interchange on National Route 307, taking Prefectural Route 5 towards Mizu. It is 11 km from Shinmeishinraku IC, 21 km from Naha-Kokusai-Tomei-no IC, 36 km from Keijibypass-Kasagi IC, and about 2 minutes on foot after getting off at Sugiyama bus stop on the Asakura line. Please let us know at time of booking as we can pick you up and drop you off at the nearest station, Shinraku Kogen Railway Shinraku Station. Please hand over the room keys at the entrance of the main house for check-in and check-out. Please come and enjoy the countryside.

Entire studio room for rent on the shore of Lake Biwa [Biwako]

Entire studio rental. It is recommended for single use or for two people, but an extra bed (extra bed) can be used for up to 3 people (* Consultation required separately). The house is on the ground floor of a two-story building.The entrance is separate. On the second floor, "Royal Hawaiian cafe the pink" is opened on May 13, 2024 (managed by the separate owner). As soon as you leave the room and ascend the embankment, you can enjoy Lake Biwa in front of you, and the mountains of Hiei and Hira on the other side, the sunrise and sunset in the lake, and the magical scenery that moves with time and seasons. We also recommend jogging, walking along the levee, and cycling along the lake road!! Long stays and business trips are also welcome! Please don't hesitate to reach out if you'd like to use it. There is a large shopping mall [Pieri] within a 5-minute walk, and there is a supermarket, a 100 yen uniform, a food court, an open-air bath with a view of Lake Biwa, and a day-trip hot spring "Mizuharu". As an◎ infection and hygiene measure, an air purifier and rumba has been prepared for indoor antibacterial treatment such as walls, floors, and ceilings. WiFi is available for◎ free. Security cameras are installed in the◎ parking lot. It is free if you sleep until the age of◎ 12.

It is a 2-minute walk to Keihan Electric Railway Kamisakae Station, and access to Kyoto Sanjo and the west coast of Lake Biwa is excellent. Also, there is a free parking on the premises. Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.
