The house is exceptional, beautiful and located right on the lake. The decor is natural, modern and with lots of wood; we felt very comfortable from the first moment. Note the very secluded location; the nearest shopping (supermarket) is about 15 minutes away by car. But with proper planning, that's not a problem either. We enjoyed the quiet idyllic location very much.

Amazing Stay with an Exceptional Host! My stay at place was absolutely fantastic! The property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything I needed for a perfect visit. The attention to detail truly stood out, from the thoughtful amenities to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. They were incredibly responsive, helpful, and provided excellent recommendations for local spots to explore. It’s clear they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. I couldn’t have asked for a better host or accommodation. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting and I’ll definitely be returning whenever I’m in the area! The stay in the house in spring was wonderful. We just wanted to relax with some sauna and a view and the house is just that. We were also able to see some polar lights and have a walk on the lake as it was frozen. We bet its beautiful in the summertime too! We loved it!

We stayed at Salme's cottage on the lake for almost a month during our parental leave, with our baby and our dog. The house is very well kept and extremely clean. The view on the lake is stunning and the area Is surrounded by forest. There is everything you may need for a nice stay, whether it's in winter or summer. Salme is very kind and helpful, and will be happy to give suggestions on things to do if needed. Overall one of our best experiences as guests on Airbnb!

We stayed with two families in Ahmantassu and there was plenty of room for 10 people. We had a great time and had a nice vacation. In Ahmantassu, the setting is in order, a spacious and cozy cottage, we recommend!

everything is great. cozy. everything clean and tidy. very kind hostess. on the way from Rovaniemi we asked to light the sauna, when we arrived it was lit and we could enjoy the sauna. I highly recommend this accommodation.👍

Exceptional house in an exceptional place. Very responsive and super nice host! We had an exceptional vacation in this magical house! We hope to be back as soon as we can. The house is much more beautiful than in the pictures!

Quietly located, yet close to everything. Ski trails and bike trails almost in the corner and just a short trip to the ski area. Cottage clean. Kitchen equipment is very comprehensive. Clothes drying cabinet is an absolute plus, especially for those who are traveling with children.

A very nice place to stay and definitely worth recommending. The appartment is spacious and very comfortable for a couple. The bed is wide and comfortable, there are wardrobes to store clothes, the appartment is warm, well insulated and ventilated - we slept really well! The kitchen is small but well equipped and suited our needs. The appartment is located close to a shop and a cross-country skiing track, which was an important advantage for us. There are also bus stops nearby and the airport is just 4 km away. We found the location excellent - away from the hustle and bustle of a tourist place and in a very calm and quiet area, close to woods. We were able to watch northern lights four nights in a row, just a few hundred metres away from the appartment! The owners are very nice and communicative.

Our stay at this cabin in Syöte was magical. Surrounded by stunning nature, the cozy and well-equipped cabin was perfect for solitude, a romantic escape, or family time. The sauna was amazing, and Rauno, the kind and attentive host, ensured we had everything we needed. A peaceful retreat for any season—we will definitely return!
