We loved our stay with Miku and her cat 🐈 Sunny. There is a little book shop attached to the house that Miku runs and I did manage to find some books in English. Miku was very friendly, helpful and kind. I would highly recommend staying here😊

Limited to one group per day! A relaxing stay with a private beach, outdoor rock bath, and hinoki cypress aroma bath

A perfect inn to stay in Shodoshima! The inn is at a very convenient location. Since we don’t have a car, we took the bus or ride a bike at all time during the vacation in Shodoshima. It only takes 2mins walk to the bus stop and 5mins walk to a bicycle station. And many good restaurants are nearby. The host is very nice and helpful. We arrived Shodoshima at the Tonosho Port late at night. And since we arrived on Saturday, the bus that we were supposed to take was not working on Saturdays and Sundays. We didn’t know that until we arrived and that was the last bus of the day! At the end, the host drove to the port and picked us up. We are really grateful for that. Also, the host made us coffee every morning and took good care of us. The host has also recommended many good restaurants to us. All the restaurants she mentioned are very delicious!! So grateful to be here!

Traditional Japanese houses and private rooms

호철Rating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I spent almost 20 days with Shino-san's family. It was a little hard to get back to this house called Kaede and the family who run it. I didn't feel like I was "no way..." when I saw that the Airbnb rating was all 5 stars, but when I actually lived there, I wanted to give it more than that even if it was out of 5. This is my first Japanese bed and breakfast experience, so I don't have a comparison, but I don't think I'll be able to find a better place to stay in the future. In addition, Soja is a small city a little far from Okayama, so I think it's perfect for those who want to spend a quiet time, and it's not difficult to get to Okayama if you need to, so you can enjoy big cities at any time. However, Soja itself is also a very nice city with quite a few stops by train (Momotaro Line or Hikubi Line) or even quite a bike ride. I write this review while I spend a few more days in Osaka without going straight back to Korea. I haven't even returned to Korea yet, but I already look forward to Kaede, Soja-shi, and Okayama, who will visit again in the fall. (I'm thinking about taking some time in the future to put up some resources on things to see, things to eat, etc., in Soja City, but I don't know if it will work.) Shino-san, Hiro-san, and my grandmother, I'm so grateful and I want to see it already. Stay healthy and happy until we see you again.

Dream House

It was a very good trip, with polite service from the contact beforehand to the guidance on the day. Hospitality The host politely and funnily explained things like the room and the way to the accommodation. [room] The facilities were better than the photos and the view was good

100-year-old house, main house you can stay in, Marutoshikaku (2nd floor - green room)

My mother and her husband stayed together. It was a fine old house built in a rich rural landscape.I found and read my favorite book at the bookstore next door, and I had a relaxing and relaxing time in the tatami room. The stars were so beautiful at night☆ There were also a lot of condiments and cooking utensils in the kitchen, which was easy to use.You can also source ingredients at a nearby store. The day I stayed was New Year's Day, so the landlord served me zoni for breakfast! They took care of everything, and I had a comfortable stay. Thank you!
