Silhouettes of palm trees frame the horizon at dusk, where a tent stands against the fading light. The sky transitions from deep blue to warm orange, creating a serene atmosphere typical of the desert landscape.

Great experience!! We spent the night with Hassam and his mates in a desert camp. I 100% recommend it.

Mhamid Desert Camp

EglėRating, 5 stars5 months ago
The camp is beautiful and quite remote so you really can disconnect and feel like you’re in the wild. Brahim is a gracious host, his drum skills are incredible and the night by the fire in intimate surroundings with only 4 other guests felt like you truly saw a moment of life in the desert. The bed was very comfortable and the covers super warm even in the freezing desert night.
A traditional clay dish is filled with eggs and small meatballs, garnished with herbs and tomatoes. Two spoons rest nearby on a wooden table, with a glass and a plate of black grapes visible alongside.

BOOK THIS PLACE! Seriously, Said is amazing, the space is beautiful, easy to find, clean, quiet. Wonderful breakfast, great water, comfortable bed, and Said stayed up late to receive me, was responsive, and in good communication (we spoke in 4 languages!!). A really good man in a great location.

Berber Nomad Camp with Desert Tours

SusannaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
One of the best places I’ve stayed at while traveling ! Said came to pick me up in the village in the evening and brought me back in the morning even if it was very early. He was very kind and friendly during my stay and helped me when needed, I felt at home right away 😊 The camp is located in a very peaceful and quiet place in the desert : it’s a perfect place to relax ! There is also a dog, Eva, who is very playful and (almost) never tired. I’ll miss waking up to her asking me to play ! If you love dogs, this is definitely THE place to go !

Berber camp & Desert tours

RitaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I arrived in the evening. The night prevented us from seeing anything else. Then I met Brahim, always serious, kind but professional and composed. Then the surprise: the headlights illuminated a different path and everything looked different with the off-road vehicle dodging piles of debris. At the camp, the confirmation that something serious had happened. The excellent dinner was served in a different room, more beautiful and new, but far from what I remembered. So the rooms. New, beautiful, but different. The recent and severe flooding has changed everything and the wounds are still present everywhere throughout the area and has put a strain on everyone who has and is making great sacrifices. With dignity, as in Marrakech after the earthquake. But this is the Desert. Camps and not hotels. Sandstorms can bury all the work you've just done in an instant. Everything in our lives changes in an instant, and here even more so. With the wind that draws new shapes. It is Nature, it is Truth. It's the Desert. ❤️
A vast expanse of golden sand dunes is captured under a clear blue sky. The undulating shapes of the dunes create a rhythmic pattern across the landscape, with distant mountains softly visible along the horizon.

desert feet

We had such a great time staying at Ahmed's AirBnB. His brothers took great care of us as Ahmed was out for a desert tour. They took us in so we would feel right at home. The room was very clean and also beautifully decorated. The AirBnB had wonderful shared spaces to hang out and relax and also a rooftop with an incredible view. Ahmed's brothers were always looking after us and responded to all our needs, we even got a (relatively spontaneous) breakfast which was really tasty. Thank you for everything and we hope to see you again next time. We highly recommend staying here!

DAR BANI GUEST HOUSE

OtmaneRating, 5 stars1 month ago
For those who like the authenticity of Morocco, you won't be disappointed! The place is great, conducive to rest or various activities and walks, easily accessible in the area. The accommodation is spacious, clean and tastefully decorated with respect for local craftsmanship, which gives it a crazy charm. I'll finish with our Host Khaled who is a very friendly young man who knows how to share the love of his region with you. His welcome and generosity only reinforce my deep-seated belief that Moroccans have a heart of gold and that their education and values are not learned in books but through the eyes and during sincere and simple exchanges. As you can see, I highly recommend this place that I hope to visit again and again in the near future. Thank you Khaled!!!
