Paradise at Kallsjöen

The rice pits in Åre municipality is a paradise both in summer and winter. Bright and nice summer evenings around the fireplace, snowmobile and winter activities in winter. Kallsjön is just outside the living room window, with the possibility of fishing. Hunting terrain in the hills and mountains around. Stunning views out to the sea and Åreskutan. 12 km to Järpen city centre. Possibility of cross country skiing in a light slope, swimming pool and Curlinghall. 19 km to Huså, 30 km to Åre/Bjørnen, which is known for its downhill slopes.

Rent our newly built (Nov 2022) and well-planned 4 rooms with sauna in peaceful environment. High standard with unique options, floor heating and a hard to beat cozy factor that really gives it the cabin feel you want when you go to the mountains. Basically ski in/ ski out with only one walk of 100 meters to the ski slopes of Tegefjäll / Duved (included in Åres lift system). 300 meters in the other direction you will find the restaurant, mini life and the ski bus into Åre (open during ski season). Mountain cottage by lake, for adventure and rest

We can not promise that you will see the northern lights, moose, reindeer and catch wild fish; but many of our guests have experienced it. They love the cottage, it is cozy, located by a lake and has the wilderness outside the door. A boat is included in the rent. The area is famous for hiking, cycling, kayaking in lakes and rapids. Huset består av tre sovrum, ett badrum, ett sovloft samt ett kök som är öppet mot vardagsrummet. Det är öppet mellan sovloftet och vardagsrummet vilket bör beaktas om man avser sova på loftet och om man reser med morgonpigga individer. Stugan är modern men mysigt inredd för att skapa en härlig stugkänsla. Huså ligger på andra sidan Åreskutan från Åre sett och har en egen skidbacke och mycket goda möjligheter till skoteråkning. Här finns även en fors att bada i och vandringsleder.
