Lovely cottage with a large lovely hot tub. Perfect for large group of friends or multiple families. Also located very nicely with a good distance to the next cabin.

The place had everything we needed – and more. The sauna and jacuzzi were perfect, especially since there was limited snow on the slopes. It’s also just a short drive to Norefjell Ski Center, which made it super convenient.

Very nice cabin for large gathering! Was very lovely that everything was okay and that if there was anything, we got an answer quickly. Awesome location, could be outside and it was such nice weather:) Recommend this one to rent!

Very big and nice cabin in Norefjell, close to the cross skiing slopes. The Alpine slopes are a very short drive away. The cabin itself had every amenity you could need. Overall, the perfect place to enjoy a few days on the mountain!

The place was cozy, squeaky clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The view from the place was amazing, surroundings were peaceful, and you can really feel the care Dennis puts into hosting. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in nature!

Hans and Vilde were lovely hosts - extremely helpful and always responded quickly when we had a question. The house - was fantastic! The views from the lounge room were amazing - we felt right at home - the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils - outdoor fire pit was a hit with the kiddies in the snow making hotdogs over the grill. Good water pressure - easy to fill up the water tank. Can’t say enough how great the house was - super hyggeligt!

We had great days at Norefjell! The cabin was perfect for our family. The only issue was the way in which was incredibly slippery and relatively poorly strewn. We drove a 4 wheel drive car but had almost needed chains in addition. There was ice and with the sun standing on it became extra slippery. Beyond that, everything was great!

We were two families with 4 children together, and this cabin was absolutely perfect for us. It had all the amenities you need. The cabin is incredibly cozy, with a spacious living room and not least a spacious loft that was perfect for the kids. In the loft there are two double beds that all the children could sleep in - these were also very cozy and the kids loved them. The cabin is located right on an absolutely perfect cross country ski trail for a family with children. We walked over to Djupsjøen, and went for a great round there. We got to borrow a sled that was behind the cabin that he at least the 4-year-old got to sit in, while the other children of 7, 8 and 10 years old walked the entire round. We had really nice breakfasts and dinners around the large dining table with room for everyone, and everyone slept well in good beds. One of the days we stood in the slalom slope which is a short car ride away from the cabin. Jon Richard responded quickly, was incredibly helpful and very nice to rent from. Would definitely recommend this cabin and would love to come back.

We (2 adults, a teenager and a dog) were in Norefjell for a week snowboarding. The slopes can be reached in 10 minutes by car. For shopping (joker open 24/7) it takes about 5 minutes. The house has the promised fantastic view, is very cozy and offers enough space for 4 people. We highly recommend it.

I have to admit: the road up to Kristin’s hut can be quite adventurous – if it’s rainy and you’re not driving an off-road car – but it’s definitely worth it! Both the view (if you’re lucky) and the house are an absolute dream! We had the whole place to ourselves and loved the peace and quiet up on the hill in this lovely, remote area. The house is extremely cozy – especially with its fireplace and the cave-like bedroom with a view. It’s fairly small, yet the space is used well, so it doesn’t feel small at all. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the solar-powered electricity (plus gas) is enough for all the essentials. We honestly didn’t miss anything – on the contrary, we loved the simplicity (along with the coziness and functionality) of it all. Exactly the kind of place that makes you reconnect with nature and with yourself. Easily could have stayed longer. Thanks, Kristin, for sharing this precious haven with other people who hopefully all appreciate it as much as we did!

A cozy cottage that was a good fit for us, three couples and two toddlers. Three good bedrooms with family bunk beds, well-functioning kitchen and large bathroom. Beautifully situated with great views. Close to open ski slope. We enjoyed the stay.

Me and my partner had fantastic time at Erik's place in the end of December - beginning of January. This is a perfect getaway place from the busy city life. The views from each window in the house are majestic. We saw swans, ducks and even a fox right from the kitchen window! The place was easy to find and the check in was smooth, Erik kindly allowed us to check in couple of hours earlier. The supermarket and the Norefjell ski resort are just a short (10-15 min) drive from the place. We also enjoyed the sauna a lot. Notwithstanding the frosty weather outside it was always warm inside the main house and the bathroom.

We were 5 adults staying a small week in Norefjell. Resurrection after almost 20 years. We enjoyed the silence and the cabin, which was really lovely and very tastefully decorated. Our host Monica was helpful and accommodating throughout the process. It was really nice as you felt very welcome from start to finish.

Very nice cabin with perfect balance between being both authentic homey and prepared for rent. We felt immediately at home and lacked nothing. Although unfortunately the snow was gone, we had a really cozy Easter here. In the ski lift 1 day and trip to the Madonna on another day. Cuddle on the balcony in the afternoon sun, and lots of games to choose from in the evening. Communication with Gro was really good. We would gladly come again!

Excellent hytte in a serene location, perfect for a weekend getaway.

We spent Christmas and New Year in this beautifully located and very well equipped house. Despite two-digit minus temperatures, it was very cozy thanks to the wood stove and heating. The Norefjell ski area is a 20-minute drive away. Beautiful destinations are the Kistefos sculpture park and the Hadeland glassblowing. Cross-country skiing was also possible right in front of the house on the frozen Sund. In winter you can not drive directly to the house, you can park below the motel, the path to the house goes downhill. Since it has snowed a lot, daily sniping recommended. We had a very nice time at Noresund, thank you!

Very nice for families with children, lots to do nearby, Norefjell Ski and spa with swimming, climbing, slalom slopes. Cross country trails, hiking trails and gaps.

Our stay at the hytte was incredibly enjoyable, primarily due to its convenient location within walking distance of the ski hill leading down to Norefjell Skistua. The hytte itself was cozy and well-equipped. Like in many other places, guests are required to bring their own bed and duvet covers, which adds a bit to the luggage but can also be seen as a hygienic choice, so I didn’t mind it. Checking in was a breeze, thanks to Guro, who had prepared everything ahead of time. Just a 5 minute drive away, there’s a small self-service store that's open 24/7, where we could find all the essentials plus a bit more. The cleaning process before checkout was straightforward, thanks to the super vacuum cleaner and a solid selection of cleaning products. Guro’s father, who lives next door, was incredibly helpful and friendly, enhancing our experience even further. Our hosts also thoughtfully provided sleds for our children and even an extra baby bed. We hope to come back soon 👍
