During the summer, you can see lush greenery and the branches of the yard maple through the windows, while in winter, the nearby Lake Jyväsjärvi glistens on the horizon. As a guest, you can enjoy peace and quiet in the coziness of a small house (40 m²). From the highway, you can reach our property by car in just a few minutes; we are located 3.5 km (2.2 miles) from the center of Jyväskylä.

This cute sauna studio with its own entrance is located in a rugged landscape, a 20-minute drive from the center of Jyväskylä. The beach of Lake Päijänne is within walking distance, the nearest grocery store is less than 3 kilometers away. Whether you come to Central Finland for a business trip, skiing, shopping or to enjoy a wide range of cultural activities, you can stay with us without worries. Thanks to the fold-out sofa bed, up to four people can stay comfortably. Want to heat up the sauna and wash your travel laundry? No problem!

Atmospheric suite in the center of Jyväskylä

High-quality renovated 36 sqm urban hideaway is made for relaxation. A large corner sofa invites you to enjoy the water vapor fireplace and the flat screen TV. The kitchenette with fridge and microwave is ideal for quiet mornings and late evening meals. The electronically distributed corner sofa provides an extra bed option for this street-level suite.

The yard chamber is located near the home of Alvar Aalto; Aalto's koetalo and Säynätsalo Municipal House within a 2-3 km radius, Muurame Church 7 km from the accommodation. The bed in the bedroom is 140 cm wide. The kitchen area in the room is equipped with dishes, a coffee maker, a kettle, a microwave, and a refrigerator. Breakfast supplies are for you, please. A traditional Finnish yard sauna can be rented in the summer, with swimming in the lake. There is no WiFi in the chamber. The unit is compact at 16 m2.

The property has all the basic amenities in addition to a sauna, hot tub, large covered terrace, drying cabinet, wine cabinet, comprehensive dishes and a gas grill.
