Charming log cabin on the shores of the Kemijoki River

Relax along the beautiful Kemijoki River in a charming log cabin from 1811. Renovated with modern amenities in 2021. In the yard, there is a new sauna/toilet and a barbecue hut and a sauna terrace. After the sauna, jump from the sandy beach into the fresh water of the Kemijoki River. On the beach, there is another sauna and a hot tub, which can be rented separately in the summer, as well as a gazebo, a barbecue area and a rowboat. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The property is a great place to stay for both travelers and work crews. The property has a sheltered and large yard that can accommodate even larger cars. There's a barbecue cabin in the yard. In winter, you can even see the northern lights. The center of Tornio and the Swedish border are about 6 km away, Kemi 24 km, Rovaniemi 119 km and Santa Claus' Pajakylä 127 km. I live with my family in the same yard. The price includes linen and towels.

Koppla av med familjen i fridfulla, vackra Båtskärsnäs, nära Frevisörens camping (Nordiclapland) med bad och aktiviteter. Gästers husdjur är välkomna. Vid boendet finns en vedeldad badtunna utomhus som kan förbokas mot en avgift på 500 kronor, det är oftast möjligt att boka den men hör gärna av er i tid för att bekräfta detta. Två kajaker finns att låna. Från Båtskärsnäs går även båtturer ut i skärgården och på vintern har vi fina isar och skidspår. Sparkar, pulkor och snöskor finns att låna.

Aatti's house

Mummolatunnelmaa near Aavasaksanvaara near the Swedish border. A well-equipped 1950s cozy frontman-style house. The house has a loft with a well-equipped kitchen, one bedroom and a sauna area. The sauna section of the house has a room with overnight accommodation and a very good wood-heated sauna. The sauna wing was built in the 1970s and the surfaces of the sauna and shower room were renovated in the spring of 2023. Sleeps up to 5 people. Dog guests are also welcome for an additional fee

Situated near the river, the Swedish border is just across the water, allowing for a seamless journey into Sweden, perhaps via the ice road. The absence of unnecessary lights around provides the perfect setting for observing the Northern Lights. Cozy (44m2) studio with its own entrance, very small shower/toilet upstairs in our house, so note the pictures: stairs up! We have bed linen and towels included in the Airbnb price, basics in the kitchen. Short distance to the city center. Parking space in the yard. Kitchen, hallway, small shower/toilet and living room with TV, sofa bed, double bed and armchairs. Best suited for two adults, or four, when there are, for example, 2 adults and 2 children in the group.
