Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Kootenay Boundary

This was a comfy cozy 100 year old home that provided everything we needed for our 3 night stay. The kitchen was stocked with the necessary tools to prepare our own meals, the beds provided great sleeps and the house was ready for our furry friend! We appreciated the large front lawn for him! Just a note that there were a few open spots in the fence that a little furry friend might find to escape, but under watchful eyes, it was perfect for our dog. Jeffrey was a responsive host before, during and after our stay. Should we be back in the area, we would stay again!

Megan and Kelly were super helpful and responsive. Out of their control, but the drive there was bumpy - but they gave helpful instructions and pictures to find the cabin. It included everything, from extra towels to kitchen supplies and coffee & fans! Very spacious but cozy at the same time. We went when the lake was still frozen, regardless the view and environment was amazing and calming. The hot tub was nice to relax in. Appreciated the easy check-out instructions. Would book again!

We had a great stay here with our family! Fun yard activities, ping pong table was a hit… indoor games, toys, books too which our kids loved. Nice, open, clean space on a quiet street with walking trails, skate park and playground a couple min (walking) away. Perfect little getaway for our family.

This townhouse was as advertised and better than expected. The beds were very comfortable, the location was quiet but a short walk to the Village, and there was adequate parking for 2 vehicles. The rental was well stocked with basic necessities including things you might need for cooking, and the welcome basket with bottle of wine was well thought out (a nice selection of snacks and drinks, and hand warmers for those frigid days). There was also a fairly good selection of board games and books. The Wifi worked great. We didn’t watch TV so I can’t comment on what’s available there. We had some teens and they were very happy to discover a video game system in the room with the bunk beds. Stacey’s schedule the weekend we stayed was pretty good, so she was able to be flexible with check in and check out times. Do pay attention to her written directions because Google Maps gets it wrong! She predicted what we would need to know, and responded quickly when we had questions. Would recommend.

Brian and Sarah went up and beyond hosting us. Brian even came and kept the driveway clean from snow the next day, even though we weren't there. Very kind and highly communicative hosts. The cottage is one of the best airbnbs we ever got to stay, and, the surrounding and its surrounding is like fairy wonderland. We will be revisiting again and again when we are near Rossland/Kootney. We highly recommend Brian/ Sarah place.

Roberts place is a great little hide away. We were so lucky to find a place close to where we were working and a host that was so friendly and accommodating. This little gem was an interesting stay; my workers enjoyed the interior decorating choices "they made them smile, laugh and just overall gave them a good feeling". We will absolutely try to book Roberts again.

this place is a gem. Size is great for a 8 people, although 10 can fit comfortably. well stocked with linens, evo oil, coffee, salt/pepper, kitchen things. esprrsso machine, kcup hot tub, sauna, washer/dryer....alll super useful

great place to stay, especially for ski in / out. - the hosts are responsive and accommodating, with great local recommendations! one gotcha is AC in the building being on a louder side. love red mountain, will definitely come again!

A sweet spot a few minutes to the chair lifts! Amazing place, super clean, with all of the coziness of home. Jose was super kind and accommodating, and I’d book this space again. Only a five minute drive to Rossland too!

We recently had an unforgettable stay at a ski-in, ski-out condo with two families, and it was truly the perfect getaway. From the moment we arrived, the location was ideal—right on the slopes, making it so easy for the kids and adults to ski in and out at our convenience. The condo itself was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of room for both families to relax and enjoy each other’s company. The open-concept living area had a cozy fireplace, perfect for unwinding after a day on the mountain. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals together, and there was even a large dining table for everyone to gather around. We loved every moment of our stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to enjoy a memorable winter getaway with family and friends. We’re already planning our return trip!

Had a great stay at Darby’s place in Rossland. The apartment is brand new with everything you need for a vacation in Rossland. The place was a quick 4 min drive into town and a 15 min drive to Red Mountain. Both the bed and pull out couch were very comfortable. The washer and dryer was a huge bonus for cleaning out clothes after long days of riding. Would highly recommend staying here! Darby was a great host and extremely responsive.

Well located close to the chairlifts, clean and functional apartment with a king bed in the upstairs loft and a murphy bed on the lower level. Handy and secure storage room in the hallway by the front door to the apartment, perfect for snowboards/skis and boots, etc. Karen was responsive and prompt in all communications, and provided helpful information on restaurants and activities around Red Mtn and Rossland. The apartment is located in a building called 'The Crescent at Red', and the undercover parking space was tight for our F150; smaller vehicles will have no issue however, and there is also plenty of parking in the lot outside the front door to the building. We would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment and would definitely stay here again.

Very spacious, beautiful ski in-ski out condo! We stayed for 6 nights with our family and friends (including young children) over the Christmas break and had a wonderful stay! The condo was very spacious with two large bedrooms. There was lots of seating and a well equipped kitchen. The condo was a quick 5 min walk to the ski hill and was manageable with our 8, 5, and 3 year old kiddos. There is a large ski locker on the main floor for gear. The only tricky thing was there is only one assigned parking spot and we had two vehicles. We were very lucky to get an available visitor spot for our other vehicle each day (there are about 4 in the parkade). Wonderful spot with amazing skiing and we would love to come back!

very nice view from the place. and hot tub is definitely the must for ski days.the kitchen is pretty well stocked. you will need to walk two level stairs from outside the building to get to your suit. but you do have garage to yourself is nice for storing ski equipments. but overall, it was a nice place for ski trip.

Always enjoy staying here. Spacious and well maintained with a wonderful view! Even managed to catch the Saturday fireworks from the living room. Highly recommended.

We loved staying at Jeff’s. I kept having questions for him, and he always respond within an hour! The location was great for us to take our toddler to the magic carpet in the afternoon.

Everything about our stay went beyond expectations! The host was incredibly responsive and kind, which made the experience even better. The sauna was a perfect way to unwind, and there were plenty of extra bath towels and blankets provided. Beds were super cozy, and the view from the balcony looked right into the heart of the village. The location is unbeatable—just steps away from the Plaza Chair and gondola, making it super easy to snowboard in and out or just explore. Several restaurants and a market are right underneath or next door too. Highly recommend—would definitely stay again!

The condo at Red Mountain was spacious and perfectly located, just a short walk to the ski lifts, making it an ideal spot for a winter getaway. It was stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of amenities to make our stay comfortable. Bridget was great! She provided clear instructions and was very responsive when we had any questions. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!
