Em and I had such a beautiful time staying at the peaceful, luxurious, and stunning Oikos at Breakneck Gorge. The layout was superb for a complete escape from the everyday with views we struggled to pry ourselves away from when it came time to explore the lovely Hepburn/Daylesford area. Arthur was lovely and incredibly informative and the space itself was fitted with just about every creature comfort we could possibly have wished for.

Staying at Rachel’s place was an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The space was spotless, beautifully styled, and filled with thoughtful touches that showed how much care Rachel puts into hosting. Every detail was perfect – from the soft linens and well-stocked kitchen to the welcoming note and local recommendations. Rachel was incredibly responsive, kind, and genuinely went above and beyond to make our stay special. You can tell she truly cares about her guests' experience. Whether you're visiting for work or a relaxing getaway, this is the kind of place you’ll want to come back to again and again. Thank you, Rachel, for an unforgettable stay – we can’t wait to return!

Hannah’s place was so beautiful. We had such a great weekend and felt very relaxed and at home. The fireplace was a highlight! Even though the weather for the weekend was awful, cold and raining, Hannah’s house was comfortable, and had all the amenities to keep us out of the rain and entertained. Hannah was a great host. Super nice and very responsive and even let us check in early. Hannah was also super happy for us to bring our pup, which made our weekend perfect. Really loved the whole weekend, can’t recommend Hannah’s house enough.

We had a wonderful stay at Moorakyle Retreat! Linda is such a friendly and welcoming host and took the time to show us around the accomodation. The space felt cosy but not cramped. The bed was incredibly comfy, and the cozy wood heater made our evenings warm and relaxing. The view from the accommodation is stunning, especially with all the kangaroos roaming outside. We especially loved meeting some of the rescue animals on the property—it added such a heartwarming element to our stay. And we really appreciated the thoughtful vegan-friendly supplies provided, thanks again Linda!. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and connect with nature.

From the moment we walked through the gate and the manicured garden and entered the house we felt right at home. Inside was tastefully decorated and felt very luxurious. The home is warm and spacious and the wood heater in the lounge was a delight to have on the cold Daylesford nights. The house is located in a very quiet street and there is plenty of privacy whether you’re inside or outside enjoying the fire pit or patio. Unfortunately the hot tub was out of action but our host communicated openly and clearly about it and kept us informed of progress to rectify it. When it wasn’t able to be up and running while we were there an appropriate refund was applied. We highly recommend a stay at Greenleaf and appreciated the peace and tranquility of the home and great host who was friendly and very responsive.

This was our second time staying at Richard's lovely country property. The kids loved the open space, and playing with their remote control boat on the little dam. The gardens and surrounds were lovely, with easy access to Daylesford and Hepburn Springs shops/ pubs etc, and the communication and instructions from Richard were excellent!

Wow, rarely are we lost for words but not even the gorgeous photos could prepare us for what this would truly be like. As soon as you step into the longhouse you just feel different, the air smells beautiful and the nature sounds are so peaceful. Everything is so well designed and thought of. It feels like a hidden oasis and perfect place to relax. Most of our communication this trip was with Trace who greeted us and showed us around the property. The hosts are extremely helpful and have a lot of pride in their house and what they do. We’d recommend checking the website and booking one of their classes during your stay. I’m running out of space here to write but we absolutely couldn’t fault our stay here which was for our honeymoon. The outdoor bath and sauna are a highlight as well as the luxurious linens and views as you wake up in the morning. I’d recommend bringing some produce up with you and making use of the amazing kitchen equipped with everything you need.

Absolutely loved our spa weekend stay, so many thoughtful touches, from the quality bed linen and towels, gorgeous toiletries, great record collection, book of well thought out information about the area, places to eat, visit etc. there was even bird food for the native birds which you could hear and see from the well set up outdoor area. It truly felt like you were at home, they really have thought of everything to help their guests enjoy their stay, we will definitely return 😊 too many personal touches to mention but we fully recommend this lovely home.
