What a beautiful gem! Perfect place to relax in nature that's less than an hour away from Nairobi and at a reasonable price. Monique provided great instructions and support, Mary was great as was her food (amazing chai!) & she made sure we had everything we needed, and Jackson made sure we saw all the animals we could on the safari! As others have said, the outdoor shower was amazing - hot water against the slight wind was an awesome experience. The shallow pool was nice to dip in. The outdoor fire was nice while stargazing. Overall, a relaxing great place.

My son and I absolutely loved our stay at April's house ! This is my second time staying there and it felt like home. We both felt that we were truly experiencing Kenya, it's amazing people and community!

Lenah is an excellent host, prudent in communication and very friendly. The place looks exactly as in the photos, she’s a very clean knit and smart host. She took great care of us during our stay, the residence is very close to where the conference was happening which gave us an even excellent treat. Thank you so much Lenah

Wow! I had a great stay. The host was super helpful and the environment is peaceful. I feel like always staying there as my other home.

The views are beautiful and the kitchen area is great for large groups to hang out. The tents were nice and the beds comfortable. Mayur was a very responsive host, and the caretaker Sammy incredibly committed to ensuring we had a great stay. After a miscommunication, Mayur went above and beyond to rectify the situation.

Dickson was a phenomenal host! I would recommend his wonderful home to anyone visiting Ongata. My family felt right at home, had time to enjoy ourselves there. Safe, clean, comfortable.
