Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Kongsvinger Municipality

Beautiful home that was welcoming, festive and relaxing. Accessible to local towns and ameneties but still tucked well away in the countryside. We had a fabulous time and Veronica was quickly in touch to explain how to use equipment in the home. The kitchen was very well equipped, which made self catering for a large group very easy. Will visit again

We spent an amazing weekend at Eirik’s place, they we extremely friendly and responsive. The cabin is well equipped, close to the river, the jacuzzi was amazing.

A wonderful place to stay and we would definitely book again. It wasn’t completely clear that the host keeps some of his own belongings there including some of his Wine collection. We have not come across this before, but it was all fine. We will definitely rebook.

Jon was a fantastic host, who was always available for questions. He was very friendly and took fantastic care of us. The accommodation was in a great location, so we could enjoy the tranquility on the river. The facilities in the house left nothing to be desired. On the first day, Jon even brought us eggs, which we could then enjoy for breakfast every day. Jon also offered us the use of the canoes or fishing. All in all, the accommodation and Jon are fully recommended as a host. We would definitely come back !

Great place to stay – despite adverse circumstances The place was very nice, clean and very well equipped – exactly what we wanted for our stay in Norway. Unfortunately, we had great bad luck with the weather, which was so extreme that we decided, also for the sake of our two small children, to end our stay early. Despite the difficult conditions, we would like to give Kjetil special praise: He was incredibly helpful and took great care of our well-being. He brought us spikes and grit, which really helped us to safely master the situation. This care was absolutely exceptional and left a lasting impression. Even though we had to shorten our stay, we highly recommend the place. With better weather it would have been a perfect vacation.

Lovely place! There were 8 of us spending a weekend hanging out on the property and in the house's many nice rooms, making and eating lots of good food, bowls until late at night, coffee on the porch in the morning, play, sunbathing and chatter in the garden. Maybe not ideal if it is a walk in the woods and fields and swimming you're looking for, but perfect for a delicious farm holiday!

We were a bachelorette party of 10 women. All 45 and older. This was a magical place to celebrate and was full of charm. Very good space and amenities. Good contact with host, Ulla. Flexible check in and check out. We definitely made some great memories here.

We enjoyed Hilde's cozy and inspiring house! The wonderfully spacious kitchen and cozy corners throughout the house, made sure we could enjoy peace and quiet and the beautiful surroundings. A gift to be able to retreat here or gather with family or friends!
