The description for Mara’s apartment is spot on, it is simply breathtaking. The views of Dubrovnik, the sea and lokrum island are sensational, the photos don’t do it justice. The apartment is very big and modern throughout, everything was perfect for our stay. It’s an easy short walk down the stairs to pile gate and uber/bolt are cheap options for getting back if you prefer avoiding the climb. The host Mara is very friendly and responsive and came to welcome us, show us the apartment and provide some recommendations. Highly recommend - best place we’ve ever stayed (we were sad to leave!) Thanks Mara :)

Maro’s place was even better than expected. We loved the quiet neighborhood away from the busy tourist areas, but still very accessible to everything we wanted to do. The apartment is modern, squeaky clean, and the beautiful patio space was the perfect place to start and end the day. Maro and his wife have thought of every single detail—this was not just a stay, but an experience. We hope to return and stay here again!

Staying at this place was the highlight of our holiday - we visited various Croatian islands in the southern area around Dubrovnik and this apartment and Lopud the island were fantastic. Firstly, Lopud is a must-visit island - it has such a great buzz but is chilled and not too busy. The harbour is gorgeous and perfect for sunset dinners, with lots of great restaurants to choose from. The island has a great large sandy beach and lots of other swimming spots. It also has fantastic hiking trails, interesting buildings and the amazing Your Black Horizon art pavillion which is well worth a visit. This apartment was the perfect base for our stay. Firstly its better than the pictures (not always the case) - its a brand new apartment, everything is pristine and beautifully fitted out and very comfortable. Its so spacious and light with a gorgeous view. It faces west to the sunset which means the terrace with the sea view is lovely and cool in the morning. I cannot praise the apartment enough.

loved are stay at matae,s place every thing you need lovely views of the river we had slight problem with Internet but matea sorted straight away if we come again would definitely stay here

Wow such an amazing place!! The best air bnb we’ve stayed in - so spacious, absolutely spotless and everything brand new - really felt like a home from home!! Quiet/peaceful area and walking distance to town but we got the bus as it was so easy…Jelena was really helpful and quick with the responses and provided a cot for our little one… Loved our stay and would highly recommend!!

It was fantastic stay in Marina’s apartment. The house is well-decorated and has great space inside. We were so lucky to stay there. Everything is so perfect and has a convenient parking lot. It’s close to the old town only need 10mins drive or 25mins walk. And Marina was so supportive and helpful to us. Hope to back again. Strongly recommend!

Maja is very nice and the Airbnb is a very good one. It's a great value. Just keep in mind the location is outside Dubrovnik so you will have to take the bus or Uber into the city.

We stayed at La Scuola di Anna for a couple of days, and it was absolutely amazing! The place is full of charm, history, and peaceful energy. The surroundings are stunning—lush nature, the calm sea nearby, and the authentic atmosphere of Mljet made it a perfect escape.

We loved Ivan’s place! He sent me very detailed photos on how to get in since we were arriving at night. Gave us very good recommendations for local eats and places near old town as well. Space was perfect for us 2 couples and loved being a bit away from old town. Highly recommend!

Alen’s listing is incredible! Such a treat to get away here for a couple of nights. If you are in the area and have the time do not pass up on an opportunity to spend some restful time at this wonderful place!! We will be back with friends next time!

We loved staying at Marijana’s beautiful home! It’s even better than the photos! She was so kind and flexible with us dropping off our bags early, and gave great recommendations on restaurants. The home is in a perfect location but as others have said, be prepared for lots of stairs. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Had a great stay at Antea. Friendly welcome with tips for the surroundings. Easy to contact, quick response. Very kind and helpful. Just outside the old town, so you are in the city in no time but do not have the hustle and bustle of the city. Walls with the neighbors are thin, so you have to be lucky for a quiet stay. Absolutely worth it, highly recommended!!!

What a charming, thoughtfully furnished, equipped and well located flat in Perast. Nikola was incredibly helpful and very responsive to my questions. The stone walls of this lovely flat keep it nice and cool during these hot & sunny days (and there is a/c if needed). Everything is as described and shown in the photos and the central location is fantastic and just steps from the ferries to go to the nearby islands. Thank you so much for a very relaxing, effortless stay!

Dragan's place is worth a visit, it's a beautiful, well-maintained place. Dragan is very responsive to any requests you may have, he will provide you with a multitude of useful links, for the location of the accommodation, views of Dubrovnik, nearby shops, good tips for visits etc. In short, don't hesitate, you won't be disappointed and Dragan's mom is just as kind and welcoming...

Comfortable apartment, ideally located, 2 minutes walk from the entrance to Mljet National Park and 10-15 minutes walk from the 2 lakes. Pleasant terrace with sea views. A quick tip for tight budgets, prefer to have a pizza at the restaurant just below the property (which is also held by the host), rather than trying to eat a burger at the restaurant next door (terribly expensive and particularly inedible).

We had a lovely stay at Ivan's apartment in Slano and very much enjoyed the quiet, peaceful atmosphere. The apartment itself was perfectly clean and had everything you could wish for, we especially loved the big balcony where you can sit and enjoy the sun with a lovely view of the sea and the hills. Ideal for breakfast. Ivan is an exceptionally good host, always communicating swiftly, friendly and supportive. He has many good ideas and tips for travelling, so make sure to talk to him. We can definately recommend this apartment and wish to come back.

Great place! Great host! If you stay at this place you don’t need to rent a car to visit Dubrovnik. You can easily walk to old town as well as to sunset beach! Recommended 10/10.

Great place—exactly as described! The apartment has one very large bedroom and a second decent-sized room, plus a hallway cupboard for hanging clothes. The living room downstairs is very spacious, and all amenities are provided. The shower was a highlight: roomy, with strong water pressure and consistently hot water. The location is a nice balance—about a 20-minute walk to the old town, so you’re close enough to explore but far enough to enjoy peace and quiet away from the busy areas. There aren’t many shops immediately nearby, but there’s a lovely bakery just 2 minutes away with delicious pastries, and two small supermarkets within a 5-minute walk. Only small feedback: the bedroom shutters weren’t blackout, so the room got quite bright in the morning—which might not be ideal for light sleepers (though that’s a personal preference). Overall, a great stay! The hosts were very flexible and even accommodated an early check-in for us. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic location and stunning view. The apartment looked newly renovated so everything looked new and clean. Very friendly neighbor who gave us restaurant and wine recommendation. This would not be a place for someone who struggles with stairs.
