Skansehage is a 32-meter-long houseboat from 1958 built in wood, now transformed from a car ferry into a floating home. Possibility to swim both winter and summer. Large front decks and aft decks with urban farming, outdoor dining, and sunbathing. There are 5 meters to the ceiling inside with open living space with kitchen, dining and sleeping area. On the lower deck there are 2 cabins and 1 master bedroom as well as toilet, bath and music scene.

You are in the backyard of Solrød Golf Course, and 350 m from Karlslunde lime quarry, which is worth a visit. The house is located on Tåstrupvej, which makes it easy to get to and from Copenhagen You are also close to the South Coast's best beach. It takes 10 minutes by bike. Køge is located at a distance of 10 km, which is definitely worth a visit, with good restaurants

There is also forest nearby as well as Solrød Center with shops and cafes as well as a station with a fast train to Copenhagen. There is a bike route all the way into Copenhagen. The guest house is in the original barn building, which, after a thorough renovation, has achieved a fantastic transformation. Visible beams and idyllic stable windows preserve the authentic look of a former barn. In the 78 m2, there is both a cozy sleeping area with a double bed /B:180 cm, as well as an open kitchen-living room environment, as well as a modern bathroom with shower.

Our guest house is situated only 100m from Holbæk Fjord by a little lake surrounded by trees. When you live in the house you are close to nature, with easy access to the Fjord. The fjord is often used for water sports. Bicycle- and walking routes makes it easy to take tours, and with a short distance to the center of Holbæk (5 km) you can easily experience the town. Because of the lake, just in front of the guesthouse, it is not suitable for smaller children.
