Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Kochi

This place was an absolutely amazing find. The house and garden were absolutely gorgeous, and so peaceful - the pictures do not do it justice. Katsuhiro was the friendliest and most attentive host, always there and available to help out, give recommendations, and ensure we had the best stay possible. Even the area of town this Ryokan is based in is beautiful, with many super friendly cafes and restaurants in a quiet peaceful town. it's a short train ride from central Matsuyama (about 15-30mins) meaning you can pop into the town to see the castle any time, but don't have the noise and bustle. Overall I'd give Katsuhiro and his home a 6/5 rating Anyone who wants to experience a peaceful slice of a more traditional Japan, while still enjoying some modern luxuries (projector for movies, remote controlled lights, space-age toilet, fancy shower) - and is okay with a quick jaunt downstairs at night for the bathroom - should experience Katsuhiro's hospitality and lovely home.

新しく清潔感がある宿だった。観光地へのアクセスも抜群で、周辺の飲食店に困ることは無い。ここに泊まれば間違いない。 近辺の温泉へ無料で入れるクーポンもありサービスも良い。 価格は気持ち高めなこと、床が非常に冷たいこと、空気が乾燥しているが手軽な加湿器が備わっていない、の3点以外は文句の付け所が無い。

Absolutely mesmerizing! Unbelievable beautiful! I want to live there forever! The best Airbnb I have been so far! A lot of space, peace and inspirational impressions! Shimonada Station 9 minutes away, believe me if I say this is the place to be! I will come back with more time to enjoy this place. 5/5 Stars and very recommendable!

superbe maison familiale où il fait bon vivre dans un quartier résidentiel charmant. La maison nous plonge dans la culture japonaise. Proche de l'arrêt de train qui mène au centre ville et à 20 minutes à pied du centre. Super séjour! Merci

海癒は自然と共寄り添う事をテーマにしたとても素敵なもう一つの「家」のようなところです。 私達を家族のように迎え入れたオーナーの計らいにとてもナチュラルな気持ちで過ごせました。 滞在中はシュノーケリング・サーフィン・魚突き・磯遊びなど海を満喫し、 大岐の浜を一望できるオーシャンビューの部屋が素敵でゆったり流れる時間の中バルコニーで飲むワインが格別！！ ちょうど運よく満月だった為、綺麗な月が海面に反射して幻想的な夜に眠るのももったいないくらい オーナー家族と素敵なゲストの皆様との交流を兼ねたディナーは、地元の自然食材を使った美味しい料理でとてもいい時間を過ごせました。 全てが揃っているホテルのような便利さはありませんが、自然を肌で感じたい方に「海癒」はオススメです。

What a lovely place! The accommodation was beautifully designed and thought out. Spacious with great amenities and a stunning view. The host went above and beyond and provided a delicious breakfast selection made in the local bakery. The yuzu marmalade and bread were so delicious we made sure to stop by the bakery and buy more to take back home. The host went above and beyond expectations. The property’s peaceful and quiet location along with the heavenly semi-open air bath make this a perfect retreat! The only small downside is the house overlooks a small harbor with a parking lot; however, despite this it was never noisy and the beautiful ocean view and accommodation made this easy to ignore. Honestly one of the best airbnb stays we’ve experienced. Would love to stay again in the future.

We had a wonderful time at Saijo with Taka as a perfect host. The cabin is very spacious and equipped with everything you will need to stay for a few days or more. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor bath and benefitted from Taka's recommendations for sightseeing in the area. Taka offered to pick us up from Saijo station but we had our own rented car which made it much easier to get around in the area. (The last section of the road to the house is very narrow, so it's recommended to arrive during the daytime.) If you have time and travel through this part of Shikoku, we greatly recommend staying at Taka's cabin! :)
