Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Kochi

Great location.The view of the sea from the window and veranda is amazing.The facilities in the house are also the latest and of high quality.And there is a library in the large living room, with books of various genres, so you can spend a relaxing day reading.You can feel the owner's love in the furniture, the paintings, and the sketches.

Absolute stunning accomodation! Not only was the whole house (especially bathroom and kitchen) highly modern and usefully equipped, but everything had its charm and we instantly felt like being home :) We were even allowed to borrow two bikes for free! In retrospect we wished we would have stayed longer in Kōchi to enjoy our stay a bit more. ほんとにありがとうございます！^_^

I had a very comfortable stay! There were plenty of exciting facilities such as BBQ and sauna, and I felt like I didn't want to go home yet!

You can rent a large old house on the banks of the Shimanto River ^_^ It is run by a bright and lovely family.In the season, the cherry blossoms along the Shimanto River are in full bloom.Nearby, we enjoyed playing in the river such as rafting, watching the sunken bridges, hanging out for a walk, and eating at local shops.The bedroom, washroom, etc. have been beautifully renovated and you can have a pleasant stay.Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The location is too difficult. I was so scared when I was driving to get there. As the evening was coming to an end, I was terrified to pass the narrow road, but... As a result, I had a lot of fun. The host is friendly. The house is beautiful. The kitchen utensils were old, but they were useful for each type. It would be best if it was a little newer or cleaner, but it's good enough. The free services, such as rice and coffee, are the best. I didn't try the firewood, but it was thoroughly prepared. You prepared the barbecue thoroughly, so it was a happy and delicious evening. We went to the place as a family of four, as we arrived very late, the place is in the woods and its abit dark and narrow, but with host’s instruction we still manage to find the way in. It’s a renovated old wooden house in the woods, it’s good to experience the old traditional Japanese style. And you can really feel the nature in the morning with singing birds around. Two things to note is the bathroom is separated from the main house and it’s abit not convenient. And highly recommend to arrive daytime so you can see the road clearly. But if you are a nature person, this is a good place to go and it’s also near the Shimanto city which you can do cycling along the river and enjoy the view.

The log house has so much room and all the amenities we need. A great place to detach yourself from the digital world but still has the convenience of electricity, gas and clean water. 5 of us comfortably fit in the house. This was a great getaway for us.

Hitoshi's mountain inn is a gem. The old restored farmhouse is incredibly charming. We felt being transported back in time. For hours, we sat on the wooden veranda, staring into the amazing landscape that surrounds the house, while listening to the chirping of birds in the forest. We opted for the meal plan, and were treated by Hitoshi and Emiko to amazing local cuisine. We had a very difficult time saying good bye to this beautiful place. We hope to be able to return some time soon.
