Absolute stunning accomodation! Not only was the whole house (especially bathroom and kitchen) highly modern and usefully equipped, but everything had its charm and we instantly felt like being home :) We were even allowed to borrow two bikes for free! In retrospect we wished we would have stayed longer in Kōchi to enjoy our stay a bit more. ほんとにありがとうございます！^_^

Ce merveilleux chalet japonais nous a permis de vraiment nous ressourcer, absolument tout est magnifiique, auntant la maison comme les environs. La maison ne manque de rien, chaque détail était pensée pour que nous nous sentions à l’aise. Nous avons aprécié chaque espace (et il y en a beaucoup). La voiture est par contre indispensable. C’est un endroit idéal pour y séjourner en couple, entre amis et aussi avec des enfants. Un vrai coup de coeur!❤️

高知生まれの犬3頭とお世話になりました。オーナーのご主人と奥様は素敵な方で、とても親切にして下さいました。お家は掲載写真通りで、他では体験出来ない様な貴重な滞在となりました。古民家ですが、清潔で居心地良く快適です。家族全員とてもリラックスして楽しく過ごす事が出来ました。

Hitoshi's mountain inn is a gem. The old restored farmhouse is incredibly charming. We felt being transported back in time. For hours, we sat on the wooden veranda, staring into the amazing landscape that surrounds the house, while listening to the chirping of birds in the forest. We opted for the meal plan, and were treated by Hitoshi and Emiko to amazing local cuisine. We had a very difficult time saying good bye to this beautiful place. We hope to be able to return some time soon.

Akio was extremely fast to respond to messages and went out of his way to do some local research for us. His family is very friendly and the food was fantastic including local ingredients. This area is a jewel off the beaten path and highly recommended.

I loved staying here! The host was so friendly and very funny and sweet I felt welcome and relaxed! My room was clean and comfortable with a warm and fluffy futon and I slept really well. Most importantly the location was so beautiful! The stars on the clear night were amazing but maybe even better was the sea of clouds that appeared over the town in the morning! You really feel that you are completely at peace in nature. I came here on a pilgrim walking trip and the location is excellent for this journey and the nice house with a kind host is the perfect place to relax after the long day 💕

위치가 너무 어렵습니다. 운전하면서 찾아가다가 너무 무서웠습니다. 저녁이 다되어 가면서 좁을 길을 지나려니 공포였습니다만.. 결과적으로 너무 즐겁게 즐기다 갑니다. 호스트 친절합니다. 집이 아름답습니다. 주방기구들이 낡았지만 종류별로 쓸만합니다. 조금 더 새것이나 깨끗하면 베스트이겟지만 충분히 좋습니다. 밥이나 커피 등 무료로 제공하는 서비스가 최고입니다. 장작은 못 해보았지만 준비가 철저히 되어 있었습니다. 바베큐 하는 것을 꼼꼼히 준비해주셔서 행복하고 맛있는 저녁 시간이 되었습니다. 호스트님 감사합니다.

Masaaki is super vriendelijk en aardig. Het huisje is een parel met een dj set om plaatsje te draaien. Masaaki draait ook easy listening Jazz. Er is overigens geen keuken waar je gebruik van kunt maken. Maar Masaaki had een prima bbq en typisch Japans ontbijt voor de ochtend voor ons gemaakt. Ernaast zit in het weekend een koffie tentje van een andere zeer prettige en vriendelijke Japanse man met de beste koffie van Japan. Aanrader! Het is een zeer ontspannen en bijzondere plek.

Staying in this beautiful cabin was a highlight of our time in Japan and an unforgettable experience! The area is beautiful with an expansive view over the town of Kumakogen, wonderful walking trails, and unique stargazing. I will highlight two features: (1) The area is accessible even without a car. There is a bus from Matsuyama that takes you to Kumakogan, and the host very kindly drove us from the bus stop (2) The cabin has a well-stocked kitchen with all sorts of pots and utensils, so it's easy enough to cook your own meals by purchasing supplies at the local supermarket (across the street from the Kumakogan bus stop) before driving up to the cabin. The most remarkable feature of this cabin is the host himself. We had a wonderful time speaking with him (with the help of Google translate!) and learned so much from his joyful spirit, travel stories, and positive outlook on life. We hope to return in the future so that we can appreciate the stunning scenery in another season!

We had the pleasure of staying at TEDS, a newly built hostel managed by an incredibly kind couple. The cleanliness was impeccable, from the rooms to the bathrooms, everything was in perfect condition and made us feel exceptionally comfortable. The overall experience was excellent, far exceeding our expectations for a hostel. A special aspect that made our stay even more memorable was the owner’s kindness in offering us a ride in his car when we needed it, demonstrating extraordinary hospitality. I highly recommend TEDS to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay. A real gem!

A Norwegian cabin in Japan 😊 this beautiful house was so cosy and comfortable! I felt relaxed and at home. The host Yoko and her husband are really kind and interesting people and I felt very welcome! I was lucky to have a completely delicious homemade supper and breakfast with ingredients from the mountain and the fluffiest pancake ever ❤️ I came on a walking pilgrimage and it was a really perfect location and facilities for this - but I would love to come back when I could spend more time enjoying this wonderful place!

サーフィン好きとしてはサーフスポットの目の前で朝サーフィン→外でシャワーからの一日が始まるのが最高でした。古民家ならではの味はありながらも清潔で自然たっぷりの中に家族みんなで最高なひと時を過ごせました。ホストのHiroさんもとても気さくで優しい方です^_^宿、自然、食事、全てが最高の四万十だったのでまた是非来たいです！その時はまたよろしくお願いします。

My family loved staying here. The covered outdoor area overlooking the river was the main selling point and it did not disappoint. The all weather space was great and the views were unmatched. The home was very cozy and comfortable with beautiful decor that mixed modern and traditional. Hosts were very responsive. We are already discussing coming back in summer! Would recommend!

Absolutely mesmerizing! Unbelievable beautiful! I want to live there forever! The best Airbnb I have been so far! A lot of space, peace and inspirational impressions! Shimonada Station 9 minutes away, believe me if I say this is the place to be! I will come back with more time to enjoy this place. 5/5 Stars and very recommendable!

家族3世代8人と犬２匹でお世話になりましたが、オーナーさんがとても親切で、お部屋もお布団もとても清潔でした。玄関を開け中に入るとると素敵なアロマの香りもして嬉しかったです。タオルなどのアメニティも揃っていたのも助かりました。海岸まで徒歩5分程度ですが、夜も朝も海岸まで犬も一緒に散歩をしに行きましたが、雰囲気が最高です。天気にも恵まれたのですが、夜空は満天の星空で北斗七星が綺麗に撮れました！是非また高知に行った時はお邪魔したいです！
