Jannes place is was perfect for myself and my 4 legged companion. We both felt right at home immediately and Janne was quite quick with responses with the very minor questions I had. Jannes place is definitely something to book if you are looking for a quiet, beautiful, well kept space. Definitely keeping this listing on a short list for future Durban visits. What a fabulous place, what a fabulous stay. Think we have finally found our place to stay for our frequent Durban trips. Megan is a fantastic host, super friendly and helpful, even organising for my forgotten item to be returned to me. Would definitely recommend this lovely cottage. Especially loved how easy it was to get on the highway, or to the beach.

Our little family had the best few days at Lyn’s place. It’s so beautiful, peaceful and quiet! Perfect if you have a difficult little 1 year old sleeper like I do. The fact that the beach is so close is amazing. We loved getting coffee at the little coffee shop on the street right around the corner when we went for our morning walks. Also no need to drive anywhere as the shops snd restaurants are just around the corner. Lyn and Steve were the cherry on top. They were amazing hosts and made us feel right at home! Oh and let me not forget Rocky Road and Picklesticks.. who helped this doggy mom miss her babies at home a little less.

Thoroughly enjoyed my overnight stay. The room was spacious, clean and had everything I needed for the evening. The area is very peaceful and the garden is really beautiful and calming. Michelle is very friendly and warm, it felt like a home away from home.

Thanks Claire for a lovely. Your comfortable flatlet was private, airy and clean . All the amenities you would want. Host was v friendly and helpful. Full kitchen for self catering. Milk in fridge. Salt pepper etc supplied. Would definitely like to return if business calls for another visit in the area Otto

Everything was clean and neat and stylish. The studio provided a much-needed solace during a sad visit to Durban. Jess, the owner, went out of her way to make us feel at home. A highlight of our stay was her cat Burndale's twice-daily walkabout in the studio: just checking that we were okay! Being cat people, we loved that. The studio is not a big space, but it had everything we needed and we'd definitely stay here again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Farahs apartment. It is very peaceful & quiet but only a short walk away from the lively Umhlanga Rocks village. It is a great place & will certainly recommend staying here to my friends & family in future. 5 stars ☺️

An amazing place, had an awesome time.

I had the best stay at Megan & Richard's. The cottage is beautifully appointed, private and peaceful. What I appreciated most was being able to keep windows and doors open in the knowledge I was completely safe due to the high security. Spud, the resident dog, is delightful and I'm going to miss his antics. Don't hesitate in booking this wonderful place.

The room was perfect: comfy, private and pretty. Debbie and Nigel were extremely helpful, leaving me and my dogs with everything we needed at all times. They were also very patient with all the challenges that come with hosting young dogs, like barking and beach sand. THANK YOU!

What a wonderful host and place to stay. Made our Comrades marathon experience an even better one. Lynne welcomed us and made us feel at home. Ensured we had everything we needed and went out of her way to ensure our Comrades marathon went really well. Did so much more than expected. We will be back next year. What a 5 star experience!

This is definitely one of the best places to stay. The accommodation is beautiful,extremely neat and big and feels like home and care was take to ensure we received everything we needed. It is definitely worth the price. The hosts Grace and Charles are the most sweetest couple accomodating us when we called at the last minute and were always ready to assist.

Lories Creek is truly a hidden gem with a wonderful host who always makes means to ensure you are well taken care of at all times. We really enjoyed the different feel it gives as you get to experience the beautiful mixture and blends of the beautiful home designs to the breathtaking views you get from the garden outside. Shelley is a loving host who creates a wonderful home away from home. If you are looking for something different that covers every need, I would definitely recommend it. We will definitely be returning soon.
