A beautiful spot just south of Springbok, nestled in the mountains after a short ride off the N7. We'll definitely be stopping by in the future again, it was a great way to break up the trip home from Kgalagadi.

Highly recommended. Whether you need an overnight stop or want to stay longer, Hester has created a lovely space that is homely and welcoming. The place is very well equipped with everything you may need for a long stay (kitchen etc) and comfortable. The rooms are individually decorated creating a nice character. Hester herself is super helpful and instantly shared details of an emergency auto electrician that we needed for a battery issue on one of our cars.

One of the best stays over places you can find in Springbok South Africa, private and quiet surroundings, the place is super cozy and well secured, it feels like home away from home.

Okiep Country Hotel is a gem. It was our third stopover here. This time we stayed in a family room, which was very enjoyable. Everything was perfect: friendly and professional staff, clean room, comfortable beds and pillows, white beddings and towels, excellent tea and coffee facilities. I highly recommend to have dinner at their fabulous white tablecloth restaurant! We had incredible meals that were delicious and beautifully presented. Their lamb curry and chocolate brownie is a must-try. They also have a pizza oven: for those travelling with children pizza as dinner option is convenient :) The property has an interesting museum and a billiard room :) Superb stopover at this golden oldie for anyone traveling between Namibia and South Africa. We will be back !
