Very cozy, well-kept and clean house in the countryside. You only need to bring your own groceries. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower. We felt very comfortable. The journey is along a kilometer-long unpaved road. You can reach it without an SUV. However, as in all of SA, an SUV is an advantage. We definitely can recommend the place!

We had the most incredible stay and cannot recommend this place highly enough! From the moment we arrived, Rozanne made us feel completely at home — she’s a truly exceptional host: warm, thoughtful, and always available if we needed anything. The home itself is stunning, with stylish and beautifully curated interior décor that strikes the perfect balance between luxury and comfort. The indoor fireplace was a cozy highlight, and we spent unforgettable dinners at the indoor Braai (bbq) enjoying great food. And the view — absolutely to die for. Waking up to the sight of Springboks and Zebras roaming in the distance felt like something out of a dream. Despite its elegant design, the house was surprisingly child-friendly, making it an ideal getaway for our whole family. Every detail was considered. We’re already thinking of our return — next time, to catch the whales! Thank you again, Rozanne, for everything.

5 star stay ⭐️.Helpful, friendly, smooth check in . View on both sides , mountain & ocean 👌. Linen & towels 5 star ⭐️.Bed so comfy 👌. Tiny problem which was sorted out in minutes 🙌. Don’t bother looking else where this is the place to stay . Little bit out of town but lovely & peaceful . Cliff walk which Eunice recommends is a must . 1 hour into Hermanus , easy walking . Also if you like in the town .. check out Goozi apartment which they also have & is walkable to everything . All in all both places 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Kyle’s place was super central and close to everything. The apartment is really big and spacious, usually one bedrooms can feel a bit crammed but Kyle’s place is open and breezy but still extremely cozy with everything you need. Kyle also accommodated us with an early check-in which was awesome. Kyle is Super responsive and helpful with perfect instructions. Will definitely stay here again. Thanks Kyle!

I went as a solo traveller and had such a lovely stay, the cabin is beautiful. I really liked the screeching wooden floors :) You really feel like you away from everything , it's the best place to unwind. The view from the deck was magnificent, I really enjoyed my braais from there in the evening. The host went over and above to provide everything you may need. Even some delicious filter coffee and a bottle of wine on arrival. He took myslef and another guest to the local restaurant WOW , never seen something like it. Be sure to pack enough food for your stay as there are cafe's nearby but it's a bit of a offroad (yet decent offroad) to the shops. I got back yesterday from a gem amongst gems !! This farm house was beautiful and cozy and the surrounds peaceful with gorgeous star-filled nights. The treats of wine, honey and coffee were amazing, I had to bring them home to continue enjoying them. I worked while I was there and wifi was perfect ( take note digital nomads :) ) My dogs had a ball and we were all very sorry to be leaving after a soul-soothing week. Trevor went above and beyond getting things ready for my stay and it was very much appreciated.

We fell in love with the village of Stanford and the soul restoring River Home. This beautiful house is right on the river's edge and is a real treat (and retreat) to stay in. Just the place to surrender to nature, listen to the birdsong, rest and restore. We loved walking along the delightful river path. A short walk into the centre of town will bring you to several delightful restaurants. We ate at three of them (for lunch at Madré we enjoyed a really good pork belly with crispy skin and vegetables, at La Trattoria we had a feast of authentic Italian food and Agteros has a menu full of delightful South African dishes done with a modern twist). We also brownsed in some delightful homewear and gift shops. If you prefer eating at home, the kitchen at River House has everything you need to cook a gourmet meal. It is spotless, has a great gas hob and electric oven and a dishwasher for cleaning up after.

This place is very special, and a unique addition to any trip! Beautifully decorated, very well stocked, and incredibly peaceful and private. We loved using the pizza oven and hot tub, and taking walks on the surrounding trails. I would absolutely recommend to everyone!
