Sato-san and Taki-san were the perfect hosts. Their stories and their antics brought great joy to our conversations. The food they cooked up was as heartfelt and warm as they were.

[One group per day] The most fun little cabin in Morioka Minpaku

MaoRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Sho and Meg were very kind and warm throughout.I am really glad that I visited Morioka and chose to stay at this accommodation! Both the BBQ and breakfast were very luxurious, especially the sake with homemade pickles was very delicious, and we received a lot of heartfelt hospitality! We're also grateful for your help with the birthday surprise. There was interaction with other guests, and I felt the warmth and charm unique to this type of accommodation where you share the same space as the host.In addition, I was impressed by the fact that he politely told me about recommended spots in Morioka and local information, and that he listened to me like a friend. The facility is very clean, and the atmosphere of the stylish log house is also wonderful, so I can recommend this accommodation to anyone with confidence!I want to go again!

An inn where you can experience the daily life of Morioka (for one person)

HikariRating, 5 stars1 week ago
They were very kind, giving me information about delicious restaurants and events in the area. The room was comfortable, and the steamed bread and coffee we had for breakfast were also very delicious. Rokubon the Shiba dog was also very cute and soothing. It was an inn that I would like to stay at again when I go to Morioka.

Akita House (pick-up and drop-off)

JillianRating, 5 stars4 days ago
I had a great stay with Hiro, Nozomi, and Satoko! They picked me up and dropped me off at the train station. The place is within easy walking distance of a supermarket and convenience store. Hiro and Nozomi took me out to lunch with them and later shared some tempura and sake with me, as well as singing karaoke in the house. Thank you for the really nice and memorable stay!

Apple farmers house A quiet warehouse in a rural village

JulinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I like Manabu’s place. The only lacking is the laundry that I think her place will be perfect with it. Even there is only a washer machine, it will be very helpful. She provides lots of local tea that we didn’t try but looks very interesting to try. I will next time. Also apple juice that she made and lavender pack her aunt made as souvenir give a very nice touch to the stay.
