Our vacation home in Burrweiler is located at the edge of the Palatinate Forest on the southern wine route in the middle of the chestnut forest on the Teufelsberg, at 355 m altitude, below the St. Anna Chapel. On the 1250 sqm fenced forest property, there is a viewing area with a distant view of the Rhine plain, a patio made of old oak trunks and a picnic bench. The apartment is just minutes from the center with restaurants, cafes, wine bars, historic wineries, various shops. The vineyards start around the corner and all lead to the nearby hiking area “Pfälzer Wald” with its popular managed huts. The Villa Ludwigshöhe, the Rietburg ruins, which can be reached on a romantic path with the Rietburg cable car, the wildlife sanctuary located there and a panoramic café are just some of the beautiful excursion destinations.
