A dog is allowed but we don't like the smell of dogs in the Chalet. You will discover the picturesque Meuse villages and taste the real Limburg conviviality near the Hoge Kempen National Park, Maasvallei River Park and the Aldeneyck wine domain. It is the ideal base for cycling through the water, visiting Maastricht or getting pampered at Elaisa Wellness.

It’s the perfect spot for hikers, cyclists, or anyone looking for a relaxing stay. Want to explore the city? Eindhoven, Roermond (+ Designer Outlet), Sittard, Maaseik, and Maasmechelen (Village) are all within a 30-minute drive. At the reception, you’ll find plenty of tips for things to do in the area. Tourist tax is included.

You will enjoy your stay with us in a cozy 2-room apartment overlooking Lake Venekoten. The surrounding area invites you to numerous hiking or cycling tours. The nice restaurant Auszeit is only 100 m away. There is also another good restaurant in the tennis club in Venekoten, Mevis Breakpoint. Een moment van rust en ontspanning. Aan de rand van Nationaal Park de Hoge Kempen en tegelijkertijd op fietsafstand van centrum Maastricht. Dat is wat het recent gerenoveerde Sonnehuisje biedt. Deze bungalow op vakantiepark de Sonnevijver biedt jong en oud een mooie kans om van de natuur in het bourgondische Limburg te genieten. De knusse bungalow ligt mooi gelegen met een beekje aan de voorzijde, wat is afgezet met een houten hekje.

This house provides a wonderful holiday feeling due to its beautiful location by the water, on the Maasplassen and almost against the center of the atmospheric fortified town of Stevensweert. The house was completely renovated in 2023. The house is located in the holiday park Porte Isola, and in the nearby area, you can enjoy hiking and biking. And of course a paradise for water sports enthusiasts with a boat rental in the park.
