Vacation rentals with lake access in Kinleith

Sarah was a wonderful host and her place felt like home. We had everything we needed for a week in Taupo. Close to a shopping market and the walking path on the lake, the place was quiet and peaceful.

Beautiful location. Great house for our two family home holiday. Stayed in April and the heating was lovely. The heated pool was a nice surprise. Plenty of private areas if you needed space. Having access to the walking track by the lake was fantastic. House is starting to need some love but still a very lovely stay.

The house is in a great location and the rooms are spacious enough. You can see Taupo Lake from the living room. The only minor drawback is that the towels provided in the bathroom are not clean enough. Some turn yellow, while others are covered in dust. But our family still likes it very much and we live happily.

We needed a last minute accommodation and Margaret responded so fast and had the place ready for us to arrive. The place was amazing and our workers enjoyed there short stay.

All I can say is WOW! Gorgeous location and walking distance to town. We were met at the place by Sugar "Sug", who walked us through the entire home AND gave us great ideas about eating, drinking and exercising. There was milk in the fridge and flowers on the table...it truly felt like home! Thanks to all, JT

This is an awesome home. Well furnished and the kitchen has every item you need to cook up a feast. Very spacious and the swim in the river was great. We will be back one day.

What a wonderful lake hideaway. A peaceful spot within walking distance to the charming Kinloch village. A well organised home away from home with everything you need - and so much room to just relax and unwind. We particularly loved the spacious upstairs loft area, the amazingly soft bed sheets and the peace and quiet. Thank you so much for accomodating us and for your friendly, prompt communications. Lovely flat, in a perfect location. There’s nowhere better to stay in rotorua. Kristin was a great host, responsive and has brilliant recommendations on things to do.

Lloyd was a great host. Always responsive and very welcoming. The apartment was clean and cozy. It was the perfect location, close to town and great views! Highly recommend and would definitely come back for our next stay in Taupō!

I thought it was a room under the hosts house however it turned out to be a lovely stand alone unit nicely decorated comfortable bed practical kitchen and lounge with lots of sun nice view of the lake and very peaceful I would highly recommend a stay at Irene's if you are in Taupo. It's a couple of minutes drive to the local dairy Bar and restaurant with nice food. And only about 5 or 6 minutes drive to the town centre

A lovely location about 5 mins drive out of the main town. Stay in an undercroft with a great view for a couple drinks on the balcony. Great to have a washing machine available.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home ….. our hosts Marki and Chris were just wonderful and everything about the space and the surroundings was top notch. The furnishings, decor, attention to detail, lovely treats and overall vibe of the home was very special …. Walking distance to the most beautiful little bay, surrounded by nature was awesome. Would thoroughly recommend!!!

We loved our 12 day stay and didn't want to leave. Spacious rooms, high ceilings, heated bathroom floors, adequate kitchen, bifold doors opening into lovely private courtyard gardens and then there is the panoramic view of the lake. Oh and the delux spa!! What a treat. Luxurious accomodation. Value plus! We will be back.

This Airbnb was lovely and had an awesome view of the lake right out the window plus a big balcony and it felt private as we were right on the shore basically. There was a lovely garden and we could take fruit if we wanted so got some feijoas :) The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner and it had a washing machine as well and our clothes dried fast outside in the sun. The listing said the wifi could be variable but we found it fine in the lounge and dining area and I was able to do a Zoom class with video with no issues. We met the host Marie as well and she was very friendly! Would love to stay here again in the future.

This is the second time we have stayed at the lake house in Lake Tarawera, We couldn't recommend it enough! Such an awesome spot if you have a boat or jetskis , If not they have kayaks you are welcome to use. Playground is about a 3-5 minute walk for the kids, Tennis Court is right at your door step. All the neighbors are very friendly and make you feel right at home. If your thinking about booking don't think about it just book it you will have an amazing time!

Lovely place close to the lake and a quick drive to Rotorua. The patio was super fun to hang out and we loved the outdoor shower. We liked staying here!

The love shack was a gorgeous secluded spot that is perfect for any type of getaway! The hosts were so delightful and had no hesitation with allowing us to charge our EV ,which was so helpful! The love shack itself is beautiful, a very modern decor and it is so well stocked with everything you could possibly need! We will definitely return!

We loved our stay! Was wonderful to be able to tie up our boat at the jetty and visit the hot pools. A very comfortable stay, and the kitchen was very well fitted out for cooking. Was also a great little walk to the cafe. Beautiful views and native birds. Alec was a great host and really appreaciate his great proactive communications. Would love to stay again.

Our stay at Vicki's place was simply wonderful! The house is beautifully appointed, with a stylish and comfortable interior that made us feel right at home. We particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the space. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare our own meals, and the living area was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Vicki was incredibly kind and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a seamless and enjoyable stay. We left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated and would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking a tranquil and beautiful retreat.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, loved the 2 living areas the boys played board games in the enclosed porch while my partner got some netflix in. We enjoyed cooking our pizzas in the Woodfire pizza oven. Gorgeous walk down to the river, lots to do nearby, and I got the best sleep in the comfy bed! Thank you very much.

Dan's place is just a piece of paradise! Right in front of the lake, with private jetty and private ramp, away from the main road, totally safe for children. Highly recommend! Dan is very responsive and welcoming, makes you feel like home. Looking forward to return again!
