My family and I recently had the opportunity to stay at Elise's place, and we felt right at home! There were tons of activities for the kids, and the staff are so, so friendly. Both Elise and Courtaney were great hosts, friendly and attentive. We will definitely be booking again. A true gem, a home away from home 🏡, 😊

I had such a wonderful stay here—one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had. The apartment is exactly as described (if not better): tastefully decorated, immaculately clean, and full of thoughtful touches that really elevate the stay. A bottle of wine and a selection of Nespresso pods were waiting for me on arrival, which was such a lovely welcome after a long journey. The location is peaceful and quiet, with a beautiful sea view that you can enjoy right from the upstairs lounge It felt like the perfect retreat, yet it’s still just a short drive to shops, restaurants and the beach is opposite! The hosts were brilliant—friendly, responsive, and clearly take great pride in making guests feel at home. Everything has been done to a really high standard, from the linens to the kitchen equipment to the little design details. It’s the kind of place where you instantly relax and know you’re in good hands. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

Carmen's place is very spacious, squeaky, clean, and peaceful. The view is breathtaking, the surroundings is very safe and walkable. She has an airfryer, which was a cherry on top for me even though I didn't use it cause we ate out. I'll definitely book again.

Place was amazing, the host was spectacular🤍. Very understanding and helpful. Worth every penny. Can’t wait to be back

Great stay!! It was our first time in Durban and most shops and locations were around the apartment which was very convenient! Not to mention the host so attentive and friendly! The apartment looked exactly like the photos! No complaints overall it is a great apartment to stay in:)

What an amazing getaway - absolutely stunning views, walking distance from the beach and near amazing restaurants and shops. We had our toddler and our senior dog with us, and both of them enjoyed it thoroughly. Felt like home away from home. Will definitely be going back 😀 thank you Margriet for being such an amazing host.

My family and I loved our time here together! The place is beautiful, spacious and very comfortable. Jackie was a wonderful host, very attentive and was always reachable if/when needed. This is the second time we stayed at Dawn’s place. We want space and views and creature comforts. Greedy, yes. Sometimes you can get your cake and eat it. I’ll get up early, around 6am. Get my feet on the dewy grass, grounded. I look out over the ocean. It’s seems deep and dangerous. So far away from the hustle back in Jozi. I come up with all sorts of plans for the day, that never materialise. Eish. Around 6:30am a bus edges through the visible forest just over the hedge. People just going to work. Then the ants start to bite my feet and head back inside. Coffee.

Everything was exactly as described! The space was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. Communication with the host was easy and prompt, and check-in was seamless. The location was great too—close to everything I wanted to explore. Overall, a smooth and pleasant stay. Would definitely book again!

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay at Avikar’s place. The view from the apartment was amazing, the apartment was located in a peaceful area and the place was within walking distance to restaurants and Ushaka Marine World. I’d stay at Avikar’s place again when next in Durban.

Great place to stay when you’re in Durban. Beautiful space, great location, walking distance to the beach. Loved how spacious it was, big enough to accommodate my family. Everything that you need is there, and Ross is an amazing host as well. Would definitely recommend it as a regular stay when in Durban.

My parents loved loved this place. A thing of beauty. Security and hosting levels were exceptional. Our host Kale was accommodating and always available when needed. The area is safe, the beach is a stone throw away.

Nihal was an excellent host. He was very responsive and accomadating. The place is absolutely stunning, location is fabulous. My family and I had an incredible stay and look forward to our next booking with Nihal at the Oysters.
