Mystic Pond Cabin-Dark History!

This place was amazing! Perfect location, felt really secluded and private but was convenient to get to anything we wanted to do. This cabin was exactly what I would dream up if I created a cabin, all the cute witchy details and thoughtful touches everywhere. It rained quite a lot on our visit but we spent a lot of time on the porch watching the birds and chipmunks, and it was exactly what we needed. So peaceful! The house was so clean, the shower fabulous, and beds comfy. Sherri was so helpful, made sure we had what we needed and gave us good suggestions on things to do in the area. And warned us about a bear in the area- lol- thankfully we did not encounter the bear but did see plenty of deer. We absolutely did not want to leave, and are already scoping out dates to return.

We stayed one night in Mellow Yellow on our way to NC. It was the perfect size for my 10 y/o and myself. We loved the 60’s decor! Beds were comfortable and everything was very clean! We would absolutely stay here again!

The host and place were fabulous. The area is beautiful and the perfect place to take your significant other. Takes you away from super busy areas so it's nice and peaceful. 5 minute drive away from the Grandview section of the Nation park. The host really ensures there's things to enjoy with your partner on the property like a hot tub, fire pit and more. The inside is beautiful and almost makes you not want to explore the are. The host will also give you the option to do something a little more special for you and your partner. It was worth it. I'll be back next year.

Sheila has a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. Her room is huge and comfortable. Coffee and biscuits with jam were provided for breakfast as well as bottled water and snacks. She is responsive and I might add a great artist!

A laundry area is featured with a white washing machine and dryer positioned side by side. A small wooden chair is seen nearby, and a light-colored curtain partially covers a window, adding to the functional simplicity of the space.

The River House | NRG Adventure Base on the River

The River House was a great place to unwind after being active in the New River Gorge NP which was about a 30-45m drive. Eating dinner on the deck right next to the Kanawha River was wonderful. The house had everything we needed and was comfortable for all 7 of us. The s’mores kit was a fun touch that the kids were very excited about.
