Vacation rentals in Kiilopää

The cabin is very nice and cozy, Aino and Anna are very good hosts, they are very responsive and gave us good tips on what to do in the area. One evening we were lucky to watch northern lights from their pier, which was wonderful, while sitting on reindeer skin :) We also went ice fishing with Aino and Anna and rented some skiing equipment which was a good activity to do during our stay :) Aino and Anna also prepared some fish for us which was very nice. The only disadvantage of the place is that the main road is near the cabin so you can see and hear cars driving by from time to time when outside which disrupts the feeling of nature a bit. Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this place :)

Easily one of our favorite AirBnBs we have stayed in. Beautiful home, in a quiet and equally as beautiful location. Thoughtfully constructed and furnished. We were able to see the very vibrant auroras from Inside the house and we even went out back, laid in the snow for an hour watching them dance in the sky. Fully furnished kitchen so very easy to cook in. The shower and sauna were amazing! Other positives were the SLEDDING hill out back and man was that FUN! They even had snowshoes for us to try out. It was an incredible experience and we will return to this very place next time we come to Finland!

magnifique maison, située en plein milieux d une forêt dans un magnifique quartier au calme. je recommande très fortement ce logement à tous ceux qui veulent découvrir la Laponie. maison toute équipée avec un sauna, des luges, ski , vélo pour se divertir.

Firstly, a big thank you to Riku’s. Even before we arrived he was very kind & helpful. Couldn’t recommend this property more highly. As soon as you drive into the area it’s like winter wonderland. The house is even nicer than the photos! Oh the view from the warmth of the cosy house was such a treat. So super private too. We hired a car & picked it up from the airport so it was very easy to get around. The beds were very comfortable & so were the pillows! My husband & son enjoyed the hot coals in the sauna at the house . Near bye there is a natural ice bath (March) nearby. We did so many activities. Husky ride was wonderful. A beginners country ski lesson & we all loved the snow habitants too. We also visited the reindeer. We didn’t see the Northern Lights but to be honest the whole trip was so amazing that it didn’t matter.

Casa in mezzo alla natura! Veramente meraviglioso! Dalla casa ci sono delle scalette che arrivano alla sauna in comune situata davanti a un lago completamente innevato! Uno spettacolo per gli occhi! Super consigliato

Mökki sijaitsee hienolla paikalla ja sinne oli helppo mennä. Mökki toimii erittäin esim. kalastavan porukan tukikohtana. Mökillä on kaikki tarpeellinen. Myös hyvät ja selkeät ohjeet helpottavat kävijää tullessa ja lähtiessä. Varmasti tulee varattua uudelleen tarpeen tullen.

Very helpful host. Guided all possible things to be taken tare or to know before we reach there. The cottage is located located bit far from city locality, so a perfect place if you are looking for a calm peaceful vacation. Just a 100/200 meters walk - and you could stand beside the lake. Or take a walk in the trails of woods. Look through the windows - eyes will go beyond the horizon. Serenity is all around the place. Talking about the cottage, its supper equipped with almost everything that one could need to enjoy the stay. Specially the kitchen - you find every single thing for your cooking need. Loved it! Living rooms and bedrooms were very clean and tidy. Comfortable living room furnitures to relax with family or friends with a cup of coffee or even with drinks. Mobile network connectivity was excellent. Special thing to mention about the cottage location from our opinion is about northern lights. The cottage is situated probably best to enjoy northern light during the winter.
