Located on the outskirts of town in the immediate vicinity of the forest, our cottage is your starting point for numerous activities in the immediate vicinity as well as for excursions to the cultural sites of Thuringia. Well-maintained and well-signposted hiking and biking trails as well as good highway connections and regional train and bus connections.

The guest apartment is located directly on campus, yet close to nature. If you have problems with pets, insects or feathered friends, you should not read any further. Good starting point for hikes to the Kickelhahn, to the Bobhütte, Gabelbach or Rennsteig, for bike rides on the Ilmradweg or individually, motorized for tourist destinations in Thuringia

Our former hiker's room with private bathroom, kitchenette and separate entrance is located in downtown Ilmenau. The market is 150 m away and the train station is about 1 km away. A bakery, supermarket and restaurants are within walking distance. Car parking is available right in front of the property free of charge. For bicycles, we have a covered parking space. Ideal for hikers, cyclists, business travelers, students and craftsmen. Linens and towels are included.

The house is modernly decorated and the garden offers plenty of space to spread out. In the winter months, it is perfect for winter sports in and around Oberhof. In the rest of the year, it is great for hiking, cycling and sightseeing in and around the Thuringian Forest and much more. The sauna and hot tub require preparation. If you want to use them, please let us know after booking. Furthermore, we have a pool that you can use in summer by arrangement.

For a city or shopping tour, the state capital Erfurt, 45 km away, and Weimar, offers everything your heart desires in about 70 km.

Hello, the apartment is located in a place on the north side of the Thuringian Forest. It is ideal for cyclists, hikers and skiers. We have a year-round ski hall for cross-country skiers and those who want to become one, not far from the apartment in the beautiful Oberhof. The apartment is new and modernly furnished. A fully equipped kitchen is available for guests. It has a garage and a seating area on the terrace for cozy sitting in the evening.

My very well-equipped apartment is ideal for 2 people. If necessary, another sleeping place can be quickly arranged on the pull-out sofa in the living room. On our smart TV, I provide you with Netflix for rainy days and relaxing evenings on the sofa :) I live quietly, right by the forest, where beautiful hiking trails begin. Sufficient amenities are available for business travelers. 1 travel crib and 1 highchair are available for a small guest.

From there, you can take various hikes through the Thuringian Forest (e.g. to the Kickelhahn or to Manebach).
